Attended one if the Summer Clubs and can't wait to see what they have on offer next. The surroundings, the live music, food and drinks all made it a wonderful day.

Drawn to explore the estate because of the Alpacas. Lovely walk and beautiful old house. A coffee shop would make it perfect.

Fascinating and beautiful house very lovingly restored. Visited on a tour and have also attended a private celebration there. The events team and the owner could not have been more welcoming and hospitable. We are so lucky to have access to this kind of heritage. Also, the negative reviews about the lack of bins on the estate etc are not relevant here - it is the responsibility of the council to provide these. The estate is open to walkers free of charge, and it is all our responsibility to continue enjoying this amenity by being responsible with our litter. Thank you Ardgowan and keep doing what you are doing.

What an absolute gem of a spot! The house is stunning, the grounds are beautiful, and the lovely couple running everything really put their heart and souls into the place. Absolutely worth a visit, and would make a stunning event location!

Actually Inverkip is a nice place to visit, and you could walk through natural looking gardens with some cattle, but to get to the estate you need to book for an event, as I understood. You could park a car in the marine parking and visit a cafe with a stunning view on the marine.

I have never taken the time to provide comments or ratting ever before.
However I must today!!! What a wonderful, knowledgeable host. Treated us like family opening his home (Castle) and history to us. Wish we had more time to to spend exploring the grounds but scheduled trips must be adhered to. Just an amazing experience, highly recommended for all who enjoy a bit of history.

An incredible estate and grounds and fabulous all round venue - especially for a wedding or even a romantic break! A true gem, steeped in history. The team couldn't have been more welcoming and accommodative and I can highly recommend Ardgowan. Thank you again!
