Unfortunately our experience was unpleasant.

We rented a mooring from 24th February 2020 for 12 months and paid the full amount in advance. ( £ 7511.00 ) However due to the crime in the area , some rude staff and drug use in the area we decided to leave early. Contractually that was allowed if you provided 3 months notice.

After giving the agreed contractual notice period which should have resulted in a 6 week refund of our mooring fee.

After departure we discovered the Marina allowed another paying boater into our mooring space and refused to refund us the 6 weeks refund worth £865.00 Hence they collected rent from us and rent from a 2nd party for the same mooring. When I approached their CEO , he couldn't careless.

Absolutely nasty / expensive experience for us.

The marina looks nice but deep down there are a lot of unsavoury things going on with their staff , boaters and public . Worse marina we have ever encountered!

Overall , the marina didn't workout for us but we did loved the surrounding canal areas and all the different mooring spots on the canals. Plenty of lovely places to eat close by and you meet lovely people along the canal

Looks very posh and well kept and worth a visit for a coffee or pint if that takes your fancy. Makes for a pleasant place to visit generally.

Lovely place, some coffee shops, Pub across the canal. When the weather's good it is a nice place to visit.

Just stayed one night as part of our Explore-100 benefit that we get as an Aquavista moorer but had a great time and would highly recommend this Marina. Phoned to enquire and although they were fully booked, Belinda and Tim went out of their way to find us a space - coordinating with another moorer who was leaving just before we arrived.

As an electric narrowboat it is good to be able to get a full charge every few weeks and really appreciated the 32A connection that had us charged up in record time.

All the facilities you need and they even have a choice of restaurants and a supermarket alongside the marina - we felt thoroughly spoilt.
