Overall a very nice experience. The location is excellent and the hotel comes with everything you would expect for the price. Breakfast is very nice and the staff were lovely. Location is also excellent and everything is within a 20 minute walk.

Only a few small gripes. The aircon in the rooms is very poor, and if you come in very warm weather it may be an issue. The pillows are also quite flat and were not very comfortable. Otherwise very happy.

Stayed here twice during our stay in Scotland. The staff were accommodating and the rooms were clean and comfortable. The location was absolutely incredible - so close to so many main sights in Edinburgh and walking distance to the train station. Would stay here again!

Ilona and Janos provided an amazing welcome upon my arrival. They were friendly and helpful, making the check-in process smooth and enjoyable. Rekha, Aija, Eilidh, Magdalena, and Dhrisya were exceptional during our meals. They were attentive, friendly, and made sure we had everything we needed. Our experience at the hotel was fantastic, thanks to the wonderful staff. Their hospitality made my stay memorable.Thank you all so much for your hard work and dedication. Overall, we had a good stay at the hotel, great location, comfortable room, and friendly staff. However, the housekeeping and maintenance could definitely be improved. We noticed a few issues in the room that could have been avoided with a bit more attention to detail. That said, once we reported them to reception, the team was quick to respond and keen to help, which we appreciated. With better housekeeping and maintenance, this would easily be a 5-star experience.

Loved this hotel! Wish we stayed longer than 2 nights. Great location close to lots of shopping and dining. The breakfast at the cafe downstairs was AMAZING! Irine at the front desk was super nice and accommodating. Loved that we were able to have our luggage held before and after our stay. We will return.

I had a great stay at the hotel — the location is excellent. The staff were all very friendly and professional, which made the experience even better.

The only issues I encountered were that the heavy doors tended to slam shut, which made it difficult to sleep at night and early in the mornings. Additionally, the phone in my room wasn’t working. I reported it, but unfortunately it wasn’t fixed during my three-day stay.

Aside from those points, everything else was very good and I enjoyed my time there.

We really enjoyed this hotel. It was clean and comfortable. The staff were so nice and attentive … they offered to help us several times ; helped with directions, called us a cab and also with items we requested for our stay. The location was good; we were able to walk to restaurants and the meeting spot of our ghost tour. The walk was in the middle of the hustle and bustle and everything was easy to find. This hotel was also easy to find from the train from the airport… just a short walk from the train stop (about a 30 minute train ride from Edinburgh airport). There’s also a restaurant on site (we didn’t partake but it looked yummy) and they have breakfast available for purchase , but we opted to walk around the corner to Starbucks. I would definitely stay here again!

Lovely stay - rooms are good, food services are great. Location is good.

The only negative is that we had to wait a long time to collect our luggage and the duty manager on 6 June 12:30 pm was super rude when we said excuse me, they didn't even ask what happened or what was going on and just shut us down. We had a cab waiting outside and would have appreciated some speed in luggage collection and definitely basic courtesy from Staff at the reception. We kept waiting silently 🙂
