Great location for our scout camp. Approx 30 minutes walk from the ferry (easy walk) and a super spot to base ourselves. The beach was approx 10 minutes stroll from the accommodation. The rooms were basic but comfortable, and clean. The cooking facilities were excellent (shopping centres roughly 10 minutes drive away)
We did water activities with anglesey outdoors and would definitely recommend. I felt the scouts were in very safe hands during the activities, and they really enjoyed themselves.
Would return to this centre for future camps

Great centre and campsite for basing your activities from and ideal for sea kayaking on Holyhead and Anglesey. Friendly and knowledgable staff, great value for money and loads of facilities for kicking back after a day on the water including a brilliant drying room. My mate Steve and I were using Anglesey Outdoors as a base for a sea kayaking course and were in camper vans but there is a really nice tent field also on site. Showers, loos and other facilities in main building were clean and tidy and exellently orientated to cleaning both people and water sports kit. We were too early season to try the Paddler's Return onsite cafe and bar but will visit again in the Summer for sure...||I was careless enough to lose part of my camping cooker and the staff very kindly looked for and found it and then posted it back to me. Thanks so much!

Best university field trip I’ve been on! This place we stayed just made it! From the very spacious and functional rooms and comfy common area, to the tasty varied food that was served for each meal every day. The bar was very accommodating to the sudden influx of thirsty students with great prices and music, the decoration in the bar was pretty amazing too. Highly recommend!

A comfortable place to stay for our 2 weeks sea kayaking holidays. We had the Eco Den “Compass”. A lovely little hut with a small kitchen and a bathroom with a really nice shower. It is a basic but super comfortable and warm glamping accommodation which offers a good amount of space for us 2. 4 adults will for most people be pretty tight. There is a very efficient drying room on site, rinsing possibility and the Pub “Paddlers” offers wonderful food (in October only Fr/Sat). Staff was great, they managed to get us back on power within less then half an hour late in the evening after a power cut off caused by a Storm. Thanks a lot for a super stay. We will come again.
