Perfect for a gentle walk, lots of benches for regular rests if mobility isn't quite what it used to be, been going regular for a lap walk is just about 2 miles and as an aid to injuries helping me back on tbe path to fitness. Ideal place for that.

Amazing Room on the Broom trail for younger kids! Interactive games and puzzles inside the centre! Great walk around the lake and you can buy bird food for all the wonderful species of birds xx

Beautiful place. Nice and quiet. A lovely place for a walk round the lake or through the woods. There is a bird viewing station in the nature reserve to observe any wildlife. There is a witches trail for children to follow to. You can hire bikes and disability scooters are free to hire.
There is a lovely little cafe which is reasonably priced and the food is all prepared on site and it's delicious. There is outdoor seating too. There is also an adventure playing area for the little ones and a visitor centre.
Be aware though the cafe and centre for the hiring of bikes etc only opens at 11am.

Beautiful place to walk and fun things for the kids to do. Witches , dragons and treasure hunts. Will definitely come back with the grandkids.

Lovely short walk around the lake, although it clearly develops muddy patches during the winter it's great for kids to ride around. Good little cafe with decent food and a good playground that I expect gets busy in the summer. An evening stroll can give you some cracking sunsets over the lake.
