Our family took our first trip to Scotland and enjoyed it very much! I’m glad that we found Lewis of Anderson Tours Scotland as he was an amazing tour guide! Lewis was very kind, knowledgeable and was more like a family friend touring us through Scotland.

Our family only had a few days in Scotland as we had to return to London for our flight home. We originally booked the tour with Lewis from Edinburgh to St Andrews, Dunnottar Castle and Dundee.

My wife had purchased a gift for me many years ago of a square foot of property in Scotland which made me a Lord. We always talked about visiting Scotland to see it and the country. I asked Lewis if he could take me there. Lewis said of course for a Lord!

We also had booked another tour from Edinburgh to Loch Ness, Scottish Highlands, Glencoe and Pitlochry. Lewis had recommended that if we want he could combine this into a 2 day tour by spending a night in Pitlochry so we can get the most of Scotland. I liked him so much we cancelled and combined both tours with Lewis. I’m glad we did and as we saw so much more of Scotland!

Lewis and I had multiple calls prior to the tour so we can customize it as much as possible.

He also took great pictures with his professional camera and our phone. He
even flew his drone and took a video of Dunnottar Castle so we could see it from a great view!

I highly recommend Lewis for your next tour of Scotland!

Lewis is very friendly, and he was great with our two-year-old. Very knowledgeable, and very accommodating and flexible. He tailored our trip for us, and gave us the rough ETAs between destinations, and said that we choose how much time we want to spend at each destination. We were never rushed, so when we went past our original final arrival time it was on us, because we had such a great time, and Lewis didn't mind because he had a great time as well. I would definitely book with him again the next time we visit.

While we haven't taken many guided tours before, Lewis has set the bar of future expectations high. His passionate love and knowledge of Scotland shines through in all aspects, he is a charming fellow who places a high degree of importance on your comfort and enjoyment of the tour. Just back from a wonderful tour of Scotland and thoroughly enjoyed my tour guide, Lewis.

I have done several guided tours and Lewis was by far the cream of the crop. He is engaging, witty, knowledgeable, and great at balancing the needs of a variety of people.

And his Scottish burr is great - easy to understand and you know your learning from a local.

Lewis was an outstanding tour guide. His love of Scotland and his extensive knowledge of Scottish history made this trip fantastic. We were shown magnificent historical castles and museums and travelled the most breathtaking countryside that I have ever seen. I will remember this trip fondly for the rest of my life. Anderson tours was a fantastic choice for my family. They helped create a custom 3-day tour and included our “must-see” locations. Lewis was extremely knowledgeable, entertaining, and professional. Lewis was the complete tour guide! Very knowledgeable about Scotland history, culture, and the many sights that we visited. Great sense of humor and very passionate about his homeland. Able to communicate clearly and adapt itinerary as needed. He made our trip enjoyable and we plan on returning to Scotland again. Only complaint was that we wish our trip was longer.

Lewis is very knowledgeable and friendly. Loved his banter and knowledge. He showed us the most memorable sites from Edinburgh to Inverness and back! He was very entertaining and we enjoyed our 4 day journey with him. He is top notch A+ 👌 👏 If your coming from the US you will enjoy his trips!
