We recently went on a tour with Callum. He was very responsive to my inquiries about what to do during our cruise ship port day. I gave him a couple ideas and he made us an itinerary from there. I am outlander fan but not everyone in my group was so he was able to include some other sights that made everyone happy, which can be a task with our group of 6 which included seniors and children. He kept us on time for each area we had planned to visit including a couple more because we had time and were in the area. He made lunch reservation for us in advance to keep our schedule and everyone enjoyed the meal. He was very friendly and we found lots to talk about in regards to the local area as well as socially from our businesses to the love of Star Wars. We had such a pleasant day and were returned to our ship with plenty of time to spare! We greatly appreciate his time and knowledge for the area. I would recommend him to anyone exploring the Glasgow area and beyond!

My family of 7 took a day tour of the Highlands with Anderson Scottish Tours. Callum got all our requests into our day long tour. The scenery was beautiful with many wonderful stops. Callum is an encyclopedia of Scottish history and had so much to share with us along the way. He knew the highlights down to the random stone gates and bridges we passed along the way. He was a great guide and my whole family would highly recommend a tour by him.

I cannot say enough good things about Anderson Scottish Tours. Callum is amazing and was incredibly responsive via email while I was asking questions about booking a private tour.

We really wanted to go and see St. Andrews (we are massive golf fans) and he helped plan every aspect of the day. He made some amazing suggestions (booking a walking tour of the Old Course is a must if you're a golf fan) and set up lunch for us at the Old Tom Morris Bar & Grill, which overlooks the golf course.

Our guide was Marco and he was incredible. He shared a lot of great history with us and had a fun playlist of Scottish music for us to listen to.

This was an amazing day that we'll remember forever and it wouldn't have happened without Callum and Marco. I really can't thank him and Anderson Scottish Tours enough!

Callum Anderson’s Anderson Scottish Tours is an absolutely top-notch private luxury tour operator. I am a travel advisor and have been on hundreds of tours but Callum definitely ranks in my top five best tour guides of all time. He was extremely communicative in the booking process and happy to totally change our itinerary with 12 hours notice.

We were coming off a ship in Greenock, close to Glasgow, and wanted to visit Edinburgh, which wasn’t even offered by any of the ship’s excursions. Callum meets us at the entrance to port in a fabulous kilt and whisks us off in his immaculate and comfortable Mercedes van. In Edinburgh, he maneuvers us into all the places we want to see and gives us time on our own to explore the streets that inspired Harry Potter’s Diagon Alley and other notable sights.

We go on to visit Stirling Castle, the Kelpies (absolutely fabulous 100’ high horse head sculptures), Loch Lomond and other really interesting spots in Southern Scotland. And all the while striking a perfect balance of giving us space and providing an extremely professional and informative commentary on Scottish history and what we are seeing.

Callum is so truly passionate about his country it is inspiring to tour with him. He does multi day and Highlands tours as well as in the South. I cannot recommend him enough and if you have the chance to book a private luxury Scottish tour with Callum and Anderson Scottish Tours, do it. You will be thrilled you did.

We just spent an amazing day with Callum! Prior to the ex
cursion he was responsive and helpful with inquiries. He was waiting for us at port as promised & messaged prior to our tour.

Callum is a friendly, welcoming and knowledgeable host.

We’re 6 quasi active seniors. He tailored the Inverary & West Highlands tour to our needs and wants. He has a great deal of knowledge of Scottish history and the clans and he shared this freely with us.

Nothing compares with a private tour—he knows the schedules for the large coaches and keeps his guests ahead of the fray.

The tour was as promised. We ran a bit ahead of schedule & he offered to do more with us, but we’d had a full day and decided to return to ship. We had a lovely lunch with Callum at the George Hotel. Food was great and company as well. Our visit to Puck’s Glennim sure wasn’t on the itinerary for those big groups. What a place!!

If I’m lucky enough to ever return to Scotland I’ll be booking a full private tour with Callum! Lovely guy and made us all feel like welcomed friends.
