We used this company as our trip has many different parts and in our head we justified the higher prices by thinking we would be will looked after should we need them... We could not have been more wrong!!!!
In September we were left stranded in Chicago, late at night with a cancelled flight and all other passengers got an email from American Airlines with vouchers and instructions for a selection of hotels, transport to/from airport and food for the next day. We got nothing[!!!] and had to pay for everything ourselves and as yet are not reimbursed. I have just asked for my money spent to be reimbursed nothing extra, it's less than £300...This is now December and I have been extremely patient. They hope I will just go away...no contact unless I email and then I am told to wait. I regret ever using them and would advise anyone thinking of doing so to think again... they are expensive and useless when something goes wrong.

Diane was fantastic, she understood what our plans were for a large multi-family trip, she understood our needs, our budget and priorities. She gave great advice having personal knowledge of the area herself. Took time to find us the best deal and there was no pushy sales approach either. All families travelling were delighted with the holiday Diane put together for us and the price was the best deal we had came across! We booked the same day we got the quote as it was a price not to be missed.
It also meant so much that the staff did not seem to mind my toddler crawling all around the shop as it was a big open space with lots of imagery he found interesting and I was able to get him out of the pram for a bit and watch him while Diane put our holiday together. The staff were all friendly and warm, the environment was very welcoming and relaxed.
Our last holiday to America was also booked through American holidays about 15 years ago, definitely a reliable company to use which has stood the test of time.

These guys are significantly more expensive compared to booking directly with an airline.

I got scammed. I booked a flight through them and then checked on the airline website the moment I got home. They had charged me £600 more.

I asked if they would price match and they basically laughed at me.

You should always compare the prices.

American Holidays Belfast have been absolutely amazing in my planning, and unfortunately cancelling, of holidays. Emma was such a great help in getting me all the documents required for insurance purposes and when trying to reschedule Fiona was excellent at working with me to find an even better deal than I originally had. I am so impressed and would highly recommend them.to anyone wishing to book their next holiday. Thanks guys 🙂

Decided to book a well earned holiday, and as we have been across the pond a few times, we decided to go back. And where to start, well American holidays. Paula Ramsay being the contact within American holidays, and everything booked effortlessly and with ease. Would recommend giving them a call when planning to go to the states, as they are the ones you can trust.

Excellence service provided booked holiday few months ago and when I went to pay it of i was recognized by staff and welcomed straight away. Other sellers interacted with me and helped find my holiday while shop was quiet. Paula's been been really helpful in sorting me out and so friendly. Highly recommended for the service alone

American Holidays have said they will refund my parents many times over the past 4 months for their cancelled holiday to America due to covid. Missing multiple dates they had set for refund causing distress and serious inconvenience to put it lightly. They owe thousands of pounds with no sign of a refund after all their broken promises. Disgraceful!

Don't bother booking with this company holiday cancelled 2020 due to covid they refused deposit refund £1000 gave us a voucher which we tried to use recently as it was due to expire coincidentally every holiday we tried to book was around £1000 more expensive than the competition eg Virgin BA etc so we actually lost our deposit in real terms seems they didn't want us to have it back as a refund or a voucher!!!!!!
