Robert was both funny and knowledgeable - we were a small group which I liked and I enjoyed his telling of facts and legends very much. However, the best part of the tour was when he started playing Auld Lang Syne on his harmonica! So impressive. I forgot to ask him after the tour if he could please play me the full version. What a pity!

I think All Stars offers more authentic tours than other operators. Instead of showing up dressed up as a vampire, Robert wore a kilt (which suits him very well, by the way ;-)). All this rounded up my Scotland experience. Thank you, Robert!!

Edinburgh - Dark History guided tour with All-star Guides review:
We had a fantastic time. Our tour guide Lydia was very knowledgeable and told the stories about old Edinburgh in a tantalizing way. For me, the most interesting part was how the stories gave us a glimpse into the way of life centuries ago. Lydia was very good at showing the stories from the point of view of someone living in the day it happened. Hearing these stories in the medieval alleyways of Edinburgh made the stories spring to life even more. Highly recommended!

Got David for my Edinburgh Castle tour. He was amazing. So much learning so much history. The whole story on how Queen Victoria was an influencer of her time by making Scotland a tourist destination will always be etched in my mind. Great job.

Excellent tour of the Castle with Matt. He provided wonderful amounts of information delivered with confidence and humour. Would strongly recommend him and it was excellent value for money including lots of free time to wander around the castle after the guided part.

I went on the Edinburgh Castle tour with James, whose passion for history and war was evident basically right from the word go. He also managed to find a little tidbit of information that related to many of the different nationalities of our tour group, which was a lovely touch. In fact, the tour was so good that I booked onto the Dark Histories tour with Robert the same evening! Both tour guides were excellent, and I would highly recommend the company.

I had two tours. One on Edinburgh castle with Matt. It was really great! Matt provided us with great history and humour!
Next tour was on dark history wit Robert. We were small group of him and me. Which was funny. But we had great time talking about dark history, anything you asked he knew. So All-Star guides were best experience for someone who's first time in the Edinburgh!

Amazing visit at the Edinburgh Castle!
Our guide, James, was very prepared, friendly and gave us nice suggestions for our staying in the city. The visit is well organized, pretty easy to follow also for a non-native speaker. Loved it!
