Exceptional Service from Saif at Al Haram Travel – Highly Recommended!

We recently booked our Umrah trip through Saif at Al Haram Travel and were absolutely blown away by the service from start to finish. Saif was incredibly helpful, knowledgeable, and attentive to our needs. Everything he promised was delivered to the highest standard.

The hotels were literally a stone’s throw away from both holy mosques, which made our stay incredibly convenient and spiritually uplifting. The transfers were smooth and punctual, making the whole experience stress-free. The flights were well-timed, allowing us to enter into Ihram comfortably, and the overall price for what felt like a 5-star experience was extremely reasonable.

We had a minor hiccup with the Ziyarats while in Saudi, but as soon as we contacted Saif, he sorted it promptly and professionally – even from afar. It really showed his commitment to customer satisfaction.

We booked our umrah trip in October with Saif. He was very helpful in finding us direct flights like we had requested. He even put lots of effort into potentially rescheduling our flights when we thought that we might not be able to travel in April. Saif ensured that we had all the necessary documents to travel with and applied for our visas. The only feedback I’d like to give is that you’re not provided with clear dates of when they will apply for the visa and give the travel information etc. it’s quite anxiety inducing and I did have to reach out to them a lot. I think if clear dates are given then it will be helpful for customers to feel at ease.

❗️If anyone is booking - please do your own research on the hotels before accepting the suggested hotels. Unfortunately our hotel in Makkah, Emaar Grand is listed as 4 star but the hotel bathroom is dirty and there are cockroaches in the rooms. The agents will say it has been renovated but proceed with caution.

On a positive note the transport company, Al Tawfeeq Transport, which were provided by Alharam travel were absolutely brilliant. They made sure we got from one place to another and they were very informative with timings and drivers etc for safety reasons. I will personally use the them again for any future travels. The ziyarat was fantastic and the drivers allowed us to take our time and visit all the areas.

As two female travellers, I’m pleased that our trip went well. Thank you Saif for your service and custom. You have been polite and helpful throughout the whole process.

We (family of six people) were recently blessed to perform our umrah. Our umrah package was arranged by Alharam travels, Ibrar from Alharam travels arranged everything for us. He was very helpful and professional, he was always there if I wanted to contact him. Alharam travels fulfilled all the promises. they arranged transportation which was part of our package, Alharam travels representative who is based in Saudi Arabia was in contact with us prior to our arrival in Saudi Arabia. When we arrived in Jeddah our driver was already there waiting for us, our contact details were already shared with him. It was an 8 seater van (clean and tidy). He took us to our hotel in Makkah Muazzamah. Then we were provided with another 8 seater van to take us to Madina Munawarrah, again the car was clean and the driver was very friendly. On the last day we were again contacted by Alharam travels representative shared the driver’s details, he was on time and took us to Madina airport on time.
Alharam travels and especially Ibrar made our journey very easy and smooth.
I highly recommend Alharam travels for Umrah or Hajj.

Specifically, Iqra (travel agent) was dealing with our umrah package . All went smoothly, and we had a blessed umrah Alhamdulillah. I rarely write reviews and always try to move on with bad experiences, but this one was bad-
My experience with Al Haram Travel, and specifically their agent Iqra, has been incredibly frustrating and disappointing. While they were quick to take payment, they were alarmingly slow in delivering results. The stress of having our visas left until the very last minute was overwhelming. We had to constantly chase for updates, which added unnecessary pressure leading up to the trip.

We had specifically booked Kaaba view rooms, which we were all incredibly excited for. However, upon arrival at the Swissotel, we were given standard rooms. The hotel reception confirmed that the booking was made for Haram view instead. Swissotel even showed me the booking receipt, which clearly listed a standard room, not the Kaaba view we had paid for. I immediately contacted Iqra, who assured me she would chase this up. Despite multiple follow-ups over three days, all I received were excuses about waiting for a response from the supplier.

In the end, Iqra advised me to pay for the Kaaba view upgrade myself directly at the hotel and promised that Al Haram Travel would refund the difference. Months have passed since our trip, and despite having this agreement in writing, I’ve yet to receive any refund. More frustratingly, I have repeatedly chased Iqra, who keeps asking for “more time” while offering no real answers. The lack of professionalism in this entire process has been appalling. Rather than being honest and upfront, I was met with constant stall tactics, with no results in sight.

The financial loss aside, the most upsetting part is that we lost out on three nights of the Kaaba view—something we were all so excited for. To me, it’s not just about the money, but the disappointment of having our expectations shattered due to poor management. An ounce of honesty or transparency would have gone a long way in softening the blow.

Additionally, it’s worth noting that Al Haram Travel operates under Times Travel LTD and their ATOL number is 74904. They have multiple websites under this company, so it’s important to ensure you’re confident in their services, especially since all of these websites may be run by the same people. You can search the ATOL number to find all the travel agent websites they operate under, which could be helpful when deciding whether to trust them.

If Nabil Hajj and Umrah can work to such a high standard, it’s the least that all travel agents should strive for, especially for such a significant life event as Umrah and Hajj. The level of professionalism and care they provided was a world apart from what I experienced with Al Haram Travel.

Ultimately, I have no faith in this company. Al Haram Travel overpromises and underdelivers, and their lack of professionalism is evident throughout.

Save your money and avoid the headache. Al Haram Travel is simply not worth the risk.

I’m now working with my credit card to claim the difference back.

Save yourselves, as a Muslim I felt it was my duty to share my experience so that others won’t suffer.
