An Unforgettable Experience at Aldwick Estate!

We had the absolute pleasure of photographing a wedding at Aldwick Estate on August 1st, and we’re still blown away by the experience. From the moment we arrived, the team welcomed us with such warmth and professionalism — it genuinely felt like working with friends who had everything under control.

As photographers (Kalidron.Photography), we rely heavily on good coordination and support to do our best work — and Aldwick delivered above and beyond. The staff were not only incredibly organized and helpful, but also genuinely kind, accommodating, and full of positive energy throughout the entire day.

The venue itself is stunning, of course — beautiful countryside views, elegant interiors, and thoughtfully designed spaces that are a dream to photograph. But it’s the people behind Aldwick that truly make it special.

Massive thank you to everyone at Aldwick Estate for your support, hard work, and amazing attitude. We can’t wait to be back again!

we had our wedding at Aldwick estate and it was prefect. the staff are all so friendly and professional.
The venue looks amazing with great rooms for a few guests to stay overnight, with an amazing lodge at the top of the vineyard for the newly weds.
They were quick to respond to any questions or queries which made the whole process easy and stress free

This is a double review. First, the Vineyard Tour and Wine Tasting. This was excellent. The guide knew so much about the Vineyard and the wines and told the history as a series of stories. He was obviously so proud of what had been achieved since the vines were first planted.
Second, it is a review of the accommodation. We stayed in The Forge, a 1 bedroom apartment. It was well equipped, with a kitchenette (oven, hob, microwave, etc.), a comfortable seating area with a TV and Wi-Fi. There was a large double bed in the bedroom with plenty of space for clothes. We only stayed for 2 nights but we would have been happy to stay much longer.

We did the wine tasting and had a picnic with a bottle of fizz afterwards. Really lovely experience - Howard was very knowledgeable and explained the craft and business very well. Highly recommended 👌

Stayed here last summer as we had the wine tour as a christmas present. The room was clean and couldn't fault the facilities, breakfast is pastries left in your room which was fine. It's literally in the middle of nowhere though and its really hard to get a taxi to local pubs for dinner if you want a drink, you can't walk. They do a hamper but we hadnt booked this beforehand as we didn't realise food would be such a problem. Also the receptionist was very unhelpful when I asked if she could recommend anywhere for dinner, she was actually quite rude.
The tour was good if your interested in how wine is made and the wine tastes nice. Approached another member of staff about any nice walks (there aren't any) and was also spoken to quite dismissively. All in all not one member of the staff there made us feel welcome. We're not really wine experts and the man doing the tour was only interested in speaking to the people who were. Seeing as though this was a virgin experience gift, you'd think they must get alot of people who are not necessarily experts.
I'm assuming it's an easy place to stay for the airport but I would not recommend it otherwise personally. We spent most of the evening sat in our room.
Probably ok for a wedding venue as the main room is nice but no good for your guests as there's only a few rooms and again taxis were a nightmare. Waited over an hour and a half to get one back from the pub

Over the past few years, I’ve had the privilege of photographing many weddings at the stunning Aldwick Estate. This picturesque vineyard venue seamlessly blends rustic elegance with a warm, welcoming atmosphere, making it the perfect location for couples to say "I do." The staff are exceptional, and the venue offers countless opportunities for beautiful and unique wedding photos. I’m excited to capture even more weddings at this charming location in the coming year.

Gem of a find in Bristol
Massive Free carpark which is very close to the stable rooms.
No reception but all information given via Whatsapp and email.
No restaurants but a few pubs driving distance or a 45min walk, I did find a takeaway that delivered!
The room is cosy but enough for two.
Shower room again small but just right
Breakfast already in the room
Bed is super comfortable
Wifi excellent
Some beautiful walks and views around the grounds.
The only problem I had was how light the room gets when the sun comes up in the morning! As shown in the photo!
Would definitely stay again when in the area.

Room was very nice, clean and tidy. Ample parking. Local settings and views were fantastic. Complimentary breakfast was great way to start the day!
