Called to order a taxi at 9pm for 12:15pm, not available till 12:45 so agreed the time, taxi didn’t arrive at 12:48, rang them and she said there was a delay. Taxi still didn’t come at midnight, called again and she said they came and dropped us home, a clear lie as we use the taxi service all the time. Then asked her to ring the driver and she said she can’t, he went home. Then said she will try her best to arrange a taxi. Unacceptable and terrible customer service with lack of emotion or consideration.

Reliable service - nice phone operators who were efficient and were more than happy to amend our booking last minute.

Drivers however were inconsistent. We used AJs multiple times this weekend. Most drivers were awesome, however two made my partner and I feel extremely uncomfortable.

One driver was on his phone trying to look up a website for an extended period of time and subsequently ran a red light in the process.

Another driver went on a racist tangent about immigrants (of which my partner and I are both immigrants to this country). Being yapped at with racist rhetoric as I sit in silence was the worst possible way to start my day.

Phoned AJs on Friday night to book a taxi for Saturday night to bring me back from Weeley festival at 10:15pm. Come Saturday the weather wasn’t so good so phoned AJs back to cancel taxi as wouldn’t be going to festival. Call handler said she had no record of such a booking! Had I gone would have been stranded there as impossible to just dial up a taxi late Saturday night. Think they may override existing bookings if more lucrative ones present themselves. Still get 2 stars as have used before and found them reasonably priced.

Notified all the way through via text messages. Turned up on time and driver courteous and joined in the banter....six of us in total all having had a drink. Thanks AJ's shame your not local to me

Called a cab and it got here but had to sort my baby out only took 7 minutes. Next thing i knew he was gone.

My girlfriend called on behalf of her brother who is 15 years of age and his girlfriend 16 who got on the wrong train and ended up in Clacton instead of Hythe . I called at 11.25pm to book a taxi and he said half am hour. The taxi never turned up and the phone number was going straight to voicemail. Her brother and his girlfriend were then stuck in Clacton for hours down to this taxi service.
