What a wonderful trip to Verona with Airedale Tours. It’s the first time I have travelled in a group on my own and it won’t be the last. Many thanks to Linda, Steph and most of all Alice who went above and beyond to ensure the whole group had a good time

A excellent holiday, with good hotel accommodation, food very good, Tour manager Daniel, exceptional 10/10, well organised trips, all of interest, with the exception of the Girona flower festival, which was lacking the amount of displays, that we were all hoping for, although Girona itself was a very interesting place. I would be pleased to recommend Airedale, for another holiday.

Wonderful weekend visiting The Netherlands to see pictures by Vermeer and his contemporaries, Delft where he lived throughout his life (including an exhibition demonstrating life in 17th Century Delft) and the marvellous exhibition at the Rijksmuseum. Well co-ordinated travel arrangements, comfortable hotel, knowlegeable and helpful guides. Delighted I found this tour. Thank you

Excellent hotel, choice of resort and food. Very packed itinerary of tours(excellent) resulting in rushed lunches and less free time than advertised. No time to stop for a coffee. Customers should be warned of the vast amount of walking and climbing involved - unsuitable for many. Hard working, helpful and pleasant guide.

I recently had the pleasure to organise a holiday to the Isle of Wight for the Royston & Saffron Walden National Trust Association in collaboration with Airedale Tours Ltd. The Association has worked with Airedale on numerous occasions in recent years and this year was no exception, our members all agreeing that it was an outstanding and thoroughly enjoyable quality holiday.

Why work with Airedale? The answer is that they organise the hotel and transport for your group, but give you the flexibility to choose your own venue and suggest your own programme to meet the needs of your group, but Airedale then make the bookings for you. Nothing is ever too much trouble for Airedale, and you as the organiser soon realise that you are in the capable hands of people like Lesley, Jo and Steph. Indeed they can be contacted at any time and you soon come to regard them as old friends.

If you are organising a group holiday and want sound, reliable help and advice as well as flexibility in your programme, then Airedale is the place for you.

It was nice to get to see the Vermeer show. The guide for The Hague and Delft was knowledgeable but was irritated that there weren’t two guides and had to divide us into two groups as a result I actually missed seeing the girl with a pearl earring. In addition, we had very little free time. We took a wrong turn and we’re 10 minutes late and we’re left to take a taxi. The food at the hotel was barely edible that night although good the night before. I think Airedale should have had an agent on site with the group to facilitate.

Our first experience of Airedale tours, and we're so happy to have 'found' them! As lovers of Opera and history and the arts in general, the *Rigoletto in Verona* package ticked so many boxes in an affordable 6-day tour, and delivered all it promised and much more. Staff in the office and accompanying reps were unfailingly friendly, efficient, informative and helpful-- and brilliant at smoothing over any problems that arose through circumstances not of the company's making. Can't praise or thank them enough! Bravo Team Airedale ? We had a wonderful time. Thankyou! ?

The tour entitled Girona Flower festival was excellent, the tour guide Daniel was very helpful and informative, the Hotel was of a good standard, the room was serviced on a daily basis and was very clean. the only disappointment was that the air conditioning was turned off and we were told that it would be turned on in peak season, it wasn't too hot so for our stay it was fine. We were charged 18 Euros for the use of the safe which we understand but we have never had to pay for that before. The meals were of a good standard and there was plenty of choice, all the hotel staff were friendly and helpful.
The tours were good and well organised, there was a small problem with the timings of a land train at one of the gardens which was a small problem but beyond the control of the organisers.
The actual flower festival at Girona was we all felt was disappointing, even the tour guide said it wasn't as good as previous years, one of our fellow travellers had worked as a florist and had for two years taken part in setting up the Girona flower festival and she agreed. That being said Girona is a lovely city and we enjoyed being there, the highlight for me was the catalan lunch in the countryside, it was so picturesque with good food and lovely surroundings.
Barcelona was an experience, a suggestion would be to visit on a day in the week rather than a Saturday, Daniel had to deal with many temporary road closures and the staff at Park Guell kept blocking access because of the crowds.
Pauline and I really enjoyed the experience, it is our first time on a guided tour and we would recommend Airedale tours and would use you again
Thanks
Andy and Pauline
