As a family we visited Adventure Valley whilst in the Durham area. Parking was easy, and tickets were booked online before hand so entry was also nice and easy. Once we had gathered our bearings we attempted to plan our day around various different activities that were taking place - this was found by scanning the QR code for activities.

There are both a large inside and outside play areas here, the inside play had a large soft play as well as a shooting area (foam balls) in the wild west area. Outside there were several play areas, to accommodate different ages, as well as a play fort for the kids, and giant inflatable bouncy pillows.

Adventure Valley has a few (not many) rides, the kids went on the train ride and the pony express and the ring on the slope. The downhill ring was a favourite, but my son says he was very exhausted after going up and down a few times. We also went on the tractor ride that took visitors across the fields, down to the river and back again. There was also an outdoor go kart track which the kids found fun racing around, and also a maize maze which also kept us busy for a bit. Another win, was the balloon / Water fight - we got to join in, which was fun.

During the day there was a kids disco, bubble show, pet corner, a bird show and a sheep race. The most fun activity for the kids came towards the end of the day for the foam party - they loved this!

We managed to stay the whe day there from open to close and I think it's fair to say that the kids had a good day, as adults we managed to get involved in a few bits - but not sure we got as much out of it as they did! (Although adults are still paying same amount as the kids!) I think Adventure Valley is great for the younger adventurers. I'd probably say perhaps up to about 11 / 12 years.

Good day out for kids.

It costed about £16-£17 for each person and it’s worth as we were able to spend whole day there. Kids really enjoyed each and every activity. Sheep race, foam party, trampoline and rides. We missed the tractor ride and good in the cafe was alright. Ample parking available. Overall it was a good day out.

Love coming here with the family. Today was a really quiet day, going through the school day is completely different compared to when the kids are off. New sections being added, some older sections need some tlc.

Good family fun. Reasonably priced for the day. Lots to play on outside, especially the air pillows.
Regular activities throughout the day. Tractor ride was good and the sheep racing was a highlight of our day.
Some of the park feels a little dated especially the train ride but overall value for money .

Adventure Valley is a fantastic destination for a family day out, offering a wide range of activities and attractions that cater to all ages. One of the standout features of the park is the extensive outdoor play areas, where kids can burn off energy while enjoying the fresh air. The air pillows are particularly popular, providing endless fun for children who love to jump and bounce around.

Throughout the day, the park hosts a variety of activities that add to the overall experience. The tractor ride is a charming way to explore the grounds and see the park from a different perspective. However, the highlight of our visit was undoubtedly the sheep racing. It was an unexpected and delightful event that had everyone cheering and laughing along. It’s these unique touches that make Adventure Valley a memorable place to visit.

That said, some areas of the park do show signs of wear and tear. The train ride, in particular, feels a bit outdated and could use some refurbishment to bring it up to the standard of the rest of the attractions. Despite this, the overall experience is very positive, and the park offers good value for money. With so much to do and see, it’s easy to spend an entire day here without running out of things to enjoy. Whether you’re visiting with young children or older kids, Adventure Valley provides a fun and engaging day out for the whole family.

Dissapointed.

First of some of the animals looked in bad shape. Pictures below. Looked sad and miserable aswell as alone I just felt as though I wanted to help them and so did my partner. who found it quite uncomfortable to see them the way they were, not only this but stables look unkept aswell.

On arrival to the establishment were told that it is cheaper online by the employee who clearly did not know the prices herself as explained that there was a pound difference so we payed it to save hassle however then looked later online to find that there was a 5 pound per person difference.
Cost 35 pound for to adults and then was expected to pay money to go onto attraction which bare in mind were only a few running.

Went during the kids 6 weeks holidays and still wasn't too busy. All the parks were great and the bird show was fantastic great audience involvement. Only thing I could fault is the fact they had no 'gold' in the panning area as they need repainted but that's only one minor thing we spent all day there from open to close and the kids (5 and 7) still wanted to stay and the adults got to play too as most of the structures were easily big enough for us grown ups to join in. we took our own picnic but even the Cafe prices are reasonable with a good selection 100% recommend a fantastic day out for all the family
