This was my first Adventure Uncovered festival and really enjoyed it. I found the films inspiring and the workshops were very good – As a result have invested in a new set of lenses for the iPhone. The films felt topical, especially the wild swimming ones, and I now just need to find a friend mad enough to want to come with me. Pizza at the interval was great – the only disappointment was that I didn't win in the raffle. Looking forward to next year.

What these guys are doing is incredible. The films were not only stunning and inspiring, they really made me aware of so much good happening in the world.

I find other Adventure film festivals have been mostly about endurance and ego. This one really highlights humanity, humbleness and gives you hope, as well as making you want to get out on adventure ASAP.

Had high expectations but felt ripped off. Tickets were £20 for: access to a very cold venue that usually is free; very few gear stands with no discounted rates for the festival; a bar to purchase drinks and food again, not even a little discount at all; films were a mix of bad quality and low production value and good high production value which I have already seen at many other festivals before. I appreciate the message and mission of the festival but I felt I haven't had my money's worth at all.

Been to the two AU film festivals and highly enjoyed them both. Love the mission and the message of 'adventure with purpose', delving into both the social and environmental. Great group and space to met like minded folk; left me chomping at the bite for a wild swim!
