The service and the support of Tarun was amazing. He was also punctual and polite. He could narrate and explain everything and he was ready to help us of what we needed. Tarun is an excellent guide. He took us to out of the way “ non touristy” places in Slovenia to see. The communication prior to the trip was top notch- clear and very reassuring. We did a half day trip to “ get to know the area” a little bit as we’d never visited before. Not only did he show us and explain the local history but he took us to a little local restaurant for lunch where we had a delicious local experience even catering gluten free for me. Tarun is polite, funny. Knowlegable and easy to spend time with. So much so that we plan on returning to Slovenia and getting Tarun to create/ personalise a longer tour for us. We highly recommend Tarun, can’t speak highly enough of our tour experience with him. Nothing is too much trouble for him. Tarun is an amazing guy and and an excellent guide and although this is a very delayed review I definitely thought it's worth it sharing my experience! It was very easy to make plans even though it was really the very last moment and it was Christmas holidays, so I wasn't even expecting that I would be able to book a tour to Bled. But Tarun was very flexible and we were able to organise a day tour, even though I was a solo traveller. He was waiting for me on time outside my hotel and he even brought some delicacies from his local bakery so extra credits for that! Tarun is very nice and friendly, and we chatted about different things. He really loves Slovenia and he knows a lot about this beautiful country. The trip to Bled was really pleasant and we stopped at different places to take pictures, on a lovely chill December morning, and try the traditional Bled cake of course. Since it wasn't busy that day we had extra time to do an additional tour to Lake Bohinj, which is literally a hidden gem with amazing scenery. On top of that and if you enjoy Indian food, Tarun can take you to one of the best Indian restaurants I have ever been to. Overall great experience and highly recommended!!

Had a day with Tarun whilst in Solvenia. Advised us on an early start to head over to Lake Bled, to give us longer in the area. We loved it so much, we wanted a little extra time in the afternoon and Tarun was more than accommodating. His local knowledge was second to none, and even took us to to a lovely bakery on the journey back to Ljubljana. Can't recommend him enough!

Our trip to Slovenia is all full of memories and fun time, because of Tarun. Before going to Slovenia, we were really skeptical about safety and commutation as not everything is accessible in Slovenia (unless you are aware of the routes and know how to drive unlike us). We(I,my husband and my 12 years old son) were travelling alone without friends for the very first time. So, we had inhibitions before going to Slovenia, honestly. So we started searching for a tour guide and a person who could help us in commuting to places which are remotely located. After talking to tarun we were finally relieved. He is a great guide who really helped us in achieving more than we expected. He took us to hidden gems which were not there in our itinerary even. More than anything else, we felt really safe with him. Small small suggestions from him, made a big difference and made our trip really memorable and hassle free. Tarun, thanks for all the help .We highly recommend his services.

Our family of six visited Ljubljana this summer. At the last moment, we decided we would like to visit Postojna Cave and Predjama Castle. In the past we have had many memorable experiences throughout Europe with Tours by Locals. I checked their website to see, if by any chance, there was availability for a tour the following day. I reached out to Tarun Sharma who quickly responded - saying that although he was busy, perhaps his friend Aladdin would be available to take us on the tour. Happily, Aladdin was available - he met us promptly at 8:00 at our hotel, and off we went. Our visit to Postojna Cave was magical - The train ride through the cave with its stalactites and stalagmites was incredibly beautiful and our walk through the cave breathtaking. After the visit to the Cave, Aladdin met us as arranged and then drove us on to Predjama Castle - which is built into the opening of an immense cave. We visited the castle marveling at its history and the way it was constructed in the cave over hundreds of years. We are grateful to Tarun for helping us arrange this special day and introducing us to Aladdin, whom we thoroughly enjoyed and with whom we had such an amazing day!
