Sept 2023 travelled to the UK on a 25 day customized trip designed by Luke at Adeo Travel. We travelled completely by rail and stayed in 9 hotels, all of which were great properties in excellent locations.

When we were thinking of a trip it only seemed logical to engage a UK travel company as we were Canadians and wanted local guidance. We read up on Adeo and decided they had the rail experience we were looking for - great decision on our part.

They were happy to spend time with us on calls and answered all our questions. A complete package with vouchers for hotels, the train and a variety of tours was sent to us well in advance. Luke even sent sample train schedules.

A few glitches with delayed trains and a small hotel issue when we popped over to Paris for two nights, but it was resolved. I would certainly do it again and would recommend Adeo without hesitation.

We went on an 11 day private tour of England on May 20-31. Danielle Litton planned this trip for us from start to finish and the entire trip came off beautifully. We are two 70 year olds who had never traveled to England before. We traveled to 5 different areas of England by rail and car rental and every detail worked out exactly as planned by Dani. It was a most enjoyable trip because of the detailed planning. She and the team at ADEO travel are tops in their field. They are always courteous and highly professional. I highly recommend Danielle Litton and the ADEO Travel Team to anyone considering a trip to the UK. They are the best!!!

Thank you, Luke, Daryl, and all the staff for making our holiday dream, come true. From start to finish, you were the best. Words cannot say enough. We love the special touches that were provided at each leg of the journey. Your attention to detail did not go unnoticed. We felt we were safe, and in good hands, no matter what the hour. Our journey up the west coast of Scotland from Edinburgh, to Fort William to Skye. and finally Pitlochry. Each location had a special charm. The hotels were wonderful. The staff great, the food delicious. Our tour of Sky was unbelievable. How such a beauty can be crammed in one small space is beyond belief. Our only wish was that we had more time in Sky and were able to have made the journey to Oban. However, never say never, we will return! The train was an absolute delight, and very easy to navigate once you got in the rhythm. The BritRail Staff couldn’t have been more helpful. Always cheerful and ready to assist. A little advice when you’re in the smaller locations. If needed book in advance a taxi ride to, and from at the same time you make a Supper reservation. Cabs are few and are in high demand. Don’t worry about reserving a seat on the train unless you’re travelling at peak times. Then you will have to reserve a seat at the station the day before departure. Although we did not get to the outer Hebrides, you can book a ferry ride from the isle of Skye. Custom make it a part of your trip in Sky or take the train further North. Then take a ferry ride from John O’Groats. Again, thank you everyone for creating moments to remember and extending a loving helpful hand when needed… until we meet again the Canadiens Lynn and Bob

We just came back from a wonderful trip to Scotland and couldn't have been more pleased with the excellent trip Luke at Adeo Travel planned for us. This is our second trip with Adeo and both trips were so well planned with attention to detail and had such great variety and were at a great pace. We just relaxed and enjoyed our trip with our very knowledgeable driver-guide without having to worry about driving and parking. We would highly recommend Adeo.

Luke and Darryl at Adeo travel are wonderful. We just returned from our trip touring the Highlights of Britain. We were a group of six and spent six days in London before our tour started. Luke made sure we had everything we needed and booked us at the Wellington Orchid Hotel which was fabulous and close to Victoria station. Our tour of the UK with Back Roads Tour was equally amazing. Jeremy our tour guide and Steve our bus driver were a great team. We had great hotels everywhere and the food was amazing. The tour was very relaxed and we had plenty of time to explore all the stops on our own. Adeo travel was fantastic right down to the last detail.

We have recently completed a self drive tour through England organised by Adeo Travel. From the initial contact with them, it was a seamless process from the details of the tour, to the payment process through to the experience of the holiday. All our car hire and choice of hotels were exemplary along with their suggestions for places to visit along the way. We would definitely recommend them and book through them again. We came across quite a few others whom had also booked through Adeo and they had had a similar experience. Cannot wait for our next trip.
