National Three Peaks Challenge under 24 hours

Following an extensive search for a company that genuinely commits to the 24h challenge (my stopwatch started ticking at the bottom of Ben Nevis and stopped at Miner’s Gate following the descent from Snowdon), I signed up with Active Mountaineering Team. A superior team that conducts a meticulous plan down to the minute (even your bathroom breaks ?). When Chris promises to take you up and down three mountains in 24 hours, he undoubtedly delivers. This challenge is for individuals who enjoy pushing their limits; it's far from a leisurely hill walk. Do not underestimate the N3P challenge - it requires preparation and training in advance.

Had an amazing 3 peaks National Challenge with Chris and the rest of the team. The weather was unreal on all 3 mountains too. Chris says it how it is and will make sure everyone is well looked after and pushed to complete the challenge. Best ran challenges in the country. Absolutely the best. Simultaneously the hardest and best weekend of my life. When Chris promises you to get you from car park to car park in 24 hrs, he does everything possible to make it happen. Chris is an amazing guy & did everything he could to get us over the line within 24 hours. Everything was planned down to the minute, with our last guy crossing the line at exactly the 24hr with 30s to spare. Even taking over on of our minibus drivers so we didn’t lose time after Scafell. Without his tough love I know for sure I absolutely would not have made it. If you want the best chance possible to actually complete it within 24hrs chris is your guy, could not recommend active mountaineering enough! 10/10 weekend.

Excellent tour guide, really well organised, fun, yet felt the challenge! Chris made sure as many of us as possible could complete the challenge in 24hrs, which was difficult. He pushed us to our limits, but that's exactly the sort of leader you want to get the job done.

After I signed up with a few friends late to the party for the National 3 Peaks Challenge and they had already chosen Chris at Active Mountaineering.

Having never done anything similar like that before I didn’t know what to expect but I had an overriding view it was gonna be tough. It was… but amazingly rewarding and fun. Chris was the required driving force to enable those needing a push, to achieve their goals even when they were doubting themselves.

Despite unfortunate weather, it was an incredible experience and encouraged me to further book to do Kilimanjaro with Chris leading again.

Hands down it was the toughest, most challenging but rewarding experience in so many ways I’ve ever done. However Chris’s knowledge, consideration and professionalism was what would lead me to return on further adventures with him again and more have been booked!

The true testaments to this were firstly on Kilimanjaro, I got sick and Chris handled it perfectly, - expertly judging all elements combined for the best possible outcome for everyone and I couldn’t thank him enough.
Secondly when we arrived back down and when were en route up, our group of 4 had met and chatted to various other individuals part of bigger and smaller groups recounting their experiences with their various guides and activity providers, and quite frankly I felt so lucky that we had chosen Active Mountaineering again.

Truly felt we got the best, most fun and fulfilling experience possible at a decent price. Couldn’t recommend the company and Chris more

The 3 peaks challenge was possibly the toughest thing I have done but equally the most rewarding. Chris our guide was awesome and pushed us to make sure we completed the challenge in the true 24 hours, clock starts at the bottom of the first mountain and stops at the bottom of the last mountain. Chris is one of the only guides that believes in completing the challenge in the true 24 hours. I would definitely recommend Active Mountaineering to anyone that wants to achieve the 3 peaks challenge.

I recently did the 3 peaks challenge with Chris and the team at Active Mountaineering, they made the experience fantastic it was well run and professional but also had fun at the same time. Chris is an amazing guide with top banter, he managed to get our whole group through with over half an hour to spare.

Kilimanjaro ?
I recently summitted Kilimanjaro with Chris and what an unbelievable experience!

The trek in itself is the hardest thing I've ever done, however the most amazing!

A huge difference is the passion Chris has for what he does, definitely adds a bonus to it as you have clear communication the whole way up the mountain. We met others that simply didn't have that, and for me that could play a huge factor not only in the experience you have but whether you summit or not
