Our Senior School has been working with Activ4 for a number of years. We have found them very responsive and flexible, with good local support in their European centres. Aaron Jones and his team listen carefully and make every effort to deliver the trips which we are looking for, and I would recommend them to similar independent schools.

For the last 28 years I have led school ski trips to resorts around Europe. The last two trips have been with Activ4. I was fully supported by them and the trips have been brilliant. Every trip leaders knows what they want and Activ4 provided everything from start to finish. Easy admin process and patience (we teachers never have time but Activ4 get that as well) Great coaches and drivers, top hotels and food, great skiing and even better instructors, hot lunches in mountain restaurants and other activities. I fully recommend them and happy to speak to anyone looking to use them for a trip.

We used Activ4 for our Venice Sports Tour in 2019 where we attended the SportsFest. The facility was fantastic and was very true to all of the accompanying literature. Students always found something to eat and there was loads to do with the beach, water park, astro etc it was a sporty student's dream venue! There was a good amount of time for students to explore the facilities and get involved with the various coaching sessions and tournaments. The quality of the coaching sessions was good, particularly the football sessions. The netball tournament allowed for the girls to get a lot of fixtures where the standard was varied. The disco on the final night was fantastic are far surpassed our expectations.
I would absolutely recommend Activ4 (in particular the SportsFest), and booked with them after hearing from another local school who had recommended them to us. They were professional at all times, extremely helpful and well organised. The organisation leading up to the trip was fantastic and meant that I was fully supported in terms of all of the paperwork. We are currently in the process of booking our next long-haul tour with them after such a positive experience this year.

I have always taken school groups with Activ4 and I have found them understanding and completely supportive of every trip I run. They are patient and helpful with all of the groups' needs.
I have just returned from Lake Garda with a group and stayed at the Hotel San Zeno. First and foremost I found this to be a safe hotel and the management very helpful and understanding of the needs of the children. They were happy for us to have a function room, use the pool safely and provided good food without any fuss, especially for people with specific food requirements. They were flexible with the room allocations. Once again, they were very patient. San Zeno is further up the mountain, has wonderful views and is in a quiet resort.
The reps were very, very good. Pia, Monika and Anna: excellent. Pia has worked with Activ4 for years and nothing is too much trouble for her and her team.
Activ4 have a great range of activities on offer, but what I like is that they will patiently tailor the activities to your needs, even if you want to swop them around during the booking process. They are always very helpful and willing to help even until the last moment ( in my case!).

The coach company Barry's were excellent, and I was pleased that they used a local company for me as they had the children's' interests as a priority. Finally, a big thank you to the ever patient and professional Dom Moore, who put the trip together, again nothing was too much trouble for him and his team. I highly recommend Activ4 because of their flexibility and support throughout the booking and travel process. I always travel with them.

The Performing Arts trip to Italy, that Activ4 organised for us, was a huge success. The preparation was efficient and all questions answered in detail - even the silly ones! Students had an amazing time and we felt supported buy Activ4 throughout the whole trip. Highly recommended!

I used Activ4 this Summer term for our Leavers' Trip to Lignano and it was amazing. The company were helpful all along the journey and gave very professional wraparound care throughout. Activ4 use an interactive website called Trello which keeps you informed at every stage of your booking and lets you know when certain aspects of your trip are required such as passenger lists or deposits. I will definitely be booking again with Activ4 next year and have in fact already made my provisional booking.

Hi All,

For those of you who don’t know me my name is Deanna Bailey and I work as a PE Teacher at St John’s Catholic Comprehensive School in Gravesend. I was also the Trip Leader to Lake Garda from Sunday 16th June – Saturday 22nd June 2019.

I just wanted to email to express how grateful the pupils and I are here at St John’s for truly allowing the pupils to have a once in a lifetime experience which they will treasure forever!

Thanks to Aaron for selling the trip to parents in the first place but also giving me ideas on what to include in the trip and catering for me being a pain nearly all the time at the start for dates and numbers. Aaron you reassured an NQT who had no idea what she was doing but some how after getting off of the phone from you I understood everything and was ready to write letters to parents, meet with Senior Leadership and Governors about the trip and more. Aaron always replying to emails when needed and answering the phone checking on my progress and offering advice.

A huge thank for to Ewelina and Laura for being there for every single pathetic email that I sent such as do they need their own life jackets etc. I seriously cannot fault you two with your rapid replies and quick answers so you knew I wouldn’t get confused when reading the emails back, always being on the phone in case I needed you both and always happy even if I was at the other end of the phone moaning about a parents as they were moaning at me for their child not being in a room with whoever!

I also need to say a HUGE THANK YOU TO JANINE!!! Janine was our Activ4 tour guide out in Lake Garda and she was brilliant!! Janine had a real care for the pupils on the trip and as trip leader this really reassured myself but also staff. Janine went above and beyond to ensure our pupils were having the best time, like offering to stop of at Bardolino where we went for our last ever Italian ice cream! Janine also worked well with the bus drivers we had from Roberts and joined in on the banter with them and other staff which was brilliant to see. I seriously cannot express in words how outstanding Janine was. Janine I was so impressed do not be surprised if I request you next time it will be a case of you cannot get rid of me!!

The activities were brilliant too. All suited to the pupils and all the leaders for the events had personality which was lovely to see. This allowed the pupils to get on with staff better but also have a laugh!

The hotel and bus drivers were also brilliant with staff and the pupils and I have sent the bus drivers an email complimenting them on their efforts of going above and beyond.

Seriously I cannot get over how amazing the trip was and it has made me feel incredibly proud to be part of a team who organised a trip to Lake Garda but also I would not have been able to do this without all of you guys so thank you for everything you have done. Words cannot express my gratitude to you all!

Unfortunately I leave St John’s at the end of July and join another school however, I will be booking again through ACTIV4 no doubts about that.

Once again thank you all for everything you have done for us as pupils, staff and as a school!

We always use Activ4, the organisation service is always attentive. The tour itself is professionally run and offers good value for money. Would recommend if you are looking for a school trip company.
