I booked my friends Hen Do in Derby through Acacia and everything was perfect. The cottage we booked was absolutely stunning and very well equipped, the life drawing class was great fun, the canapes were yummy and exceeded are expectations in terms of portion size, and the taxi transport was bang on time and really accommodating. Everything really did exceed our expectations and the whole process of booking and arranging the weekend was made so easy and stress-free! Thanks a million.

Cannot fault Acacia one bit. From start to finish from initially enquiring to finally picking our hen do house the process was faultless. There were 14 of us that stayed in ‘cottages near York’ for a hen weekend and the house was perfect. Our party planner, Ashley, was brilliant from the beginning. Her communication, email information and overall manner was first class. The additions to the package that she sorted for us (chef 3 course meal comes highly recommended) was no trouble at all. Having your own log-in to make payments was easy and secure and added peace of mind. Great company to deal with and can’t recommend them highly enough.

I booked the Canterbury Cottages for a surprise hen do and we have had the best weekend ever!!
Ashley made this whole process seamless supporting me through start to end and being overall just fantastic. We booked the live drawing and cocktail making, and Callum and Will again just made the day!!!! Laughing the whole time keeping 23 ladies entertained.
The houses are absolutely stunning, so clean, and well stocked with everything you need for the weekend.
Thank you again for making this weekend so special for my sister in law. A weekend we will never forget.

I booked a hen party for ten people through Acacia Cottages for The Dales Cottage. The entire process was seamless with regular emails and updates. The self service payment portal was fab and I got a complete copy of our holiday plan the week of the event. The property was immaculate and well presented and all activities booked were of a high standard. Would not hesitate to book again!

I needed to arrange a hen do for my best friend and found that Acacia cottages were spot on from start to finish. I ended up going for the Contemporary Yorkshire Cottages, Hot Tub and Ashley helped me every step of the way, with fantastic communication throughout and the cottages themselves were gorgeous too with a fab location. Would highly recommend, made arranging everything so easy 🙂

We booked a lovely house in Bath to accommodate 8 of us for my friends hen do. The price was reasonable and the venue stunning! The admin team (Ashley in particular) were extremely helpful with my booking, helping to also arrange a cocktail class and private chef and canapés. They made the arranging super easy, and checked in regularly in the lead up to make sure I had all the information needed. The payment system was also really easy to split between a group to pay directly, and my security deposit was refunded promptly at the end. Tha k you so much x

Coronavirus has hit all businesses, in particular the wedding industry, as a wedding caterer myself I'm well aware the impact has been devastating.  Our daughter's wedding has been pushed back to 2021 and all suppliers I have spoken with have been very accommodating and rearranged without fuss, proving themselves to be very professional, that is up until the point of dealing with Acacia Cottages who have clearly taken a different approach......

The hen weekend was booked through them for mid July, now just three weeks away, and fully prepaid.  Naturally we no longer wish to hold the party this far ahead of the wedding and have repeatedly asked to postpone (not cancel) to 2021, but sadly Acacia are not willing to discuss, quoting that they are waiting for advice from the Government ... in effect they would force us to go ahead with the original date or we stand to lose everything.   We had guests travelling from Asia who cannot get here because of cancelled flights and quarantines, we also had NHS staff who are unable to get time off and it is clear that the planned activities won't be able to go ahead at the moment so the whole experience that Acacia could provide would be compromised.

These are exceptional circumstances and most companies are managing to conduct themselves very professionally during this time but Acacia seem to be showing an appalling lack of empathy and willingness to work with their clients, something to be remembered if you are considering using them.
