I think I've done reviews everywhere but here. I've done two hikes with Absolute Escapes and am planning my third. Coming from Australia for a big hike was made so easy with everything taken care of before even boarding the plane.
The accommodation chosen for each hike was perfect for my needs, with every host being kind, helpful and efficient.
Communication during the process was great, especially when one trip was postponed due to covid and numbers in the hiking party changed a couple of times. They could t be more helpful and patient through this period.
Leave all the work to these guys because you won't have a thing to worry about and you can rest assure they are passionate in giving you an absolutely delightful experience.

The St. Cuthbert Way with Absolute Escapes was among our most amazing long distance treks. In spite of a couple storms coming through during our late September/Oct departure, our group of determined mid-70"s hikers were able to complete most of each day without ponchos.

We had a wonderful time! All of the details were spot on and each inn/guest house was welcoming, comfortable and met/exceeded all of our expectations. We will definitely use your company again on our next hike in the UK. We only had one day of rain and the midges were almost non-existent. We appreciated the recommendations for dinner and were glad you recommended making reservations as each restaurant was very busy. One of the best meals of our entire month-long adventure was at the Old Pines in Spean Bridge. Each of our hosts was helpful and accommodating. One even took me to the local chemist when I had a minor medical issue. Thank you for your excellent service and responsiveness. We are already planning our next one!

I booked with Absolute Escapes to walk the John Muir Way on June 2022. I was on my own and Absolute Escapes organized the perfect holiday. I told them how many days I had and they adjusted the itinerary according to my needs. All the accommodation booked were comfortable and top quality. When the accommodation was too far away from the trail they booked taxis for me to pick me up in the evening and take me back on the trail the next day. I had one issue with a payment of a room and I called them on a Sunday evening on their emergency number, they phoned me back in 10 minutes and dealt with the misunderstanding promptly. They were always available to answer any question I had since the very beginning of my booking process till the end of my holiday. I highly reccommend this tour operator and I will definitely book with them again in the future! They're just amazing at their job, well done guys!
