Taxi driver went above and beyond to ensure myself and my boyfriend got home safe last night. He patiently waited when we needed to stop and did not get annoyed once. Sadly I cannot remember his name.

The service is appalling. I had to cancel the taxi when I saw the fare (we were already in the car, and I called the operator to ask if I could do this. I gave the driver cash, but the money was also deducted from my card; the operator took my details for a refund). I called an Uber, which was half the price, and I was waiting for a refund for the promised five days.

It's now been two weeks, and I still can't get my money back. I call the taxi service every day, and they assure me that a certain elusive manager-owner will sort it out, but nothing ever happens. I intend to raise this issue everywhere I can.
By the way, the prices are always inflated.

Prices could be cheaper. But definitely the cheapest of all the cab firms in Bedford. I don't care much for the telephone etiquette of the controller though. When it's the female controller I feel more at ease. Other than that they are prompt and always on time.

I would like to appreciate the taxi driver for KP18 0FV , requested on 12/04/25. Drop off was at around 4:30 am and the gentle man waited until we were safely in the house before he set off. Thank you for such a brilliant driver

AVOID! Booked to pick us up from Gatwick airport early on a bank holiday Monday. Didn’t turn up, when I called them they said I had cancelled the booking, yeah, I cancelled the booking to get home from my holiday in the middle of my holiday. When I questioned it, they hung up. Not trustworthy, rude, just a rubbish taxi company. Tried to give them 0 stars but it wouldn’t let me. So being very generous with 1 star.

Tried to book for a festival in the area. Apparently they are the official providers. Told I needed to book well in advance by the organisers , but they wouldn't take the booking as I didn't have the exact house number yet (Airbnb).. Not the lady on the phones fault, she was new, but the lady in the background was just being rude and cocky. Have passed this on to the festival organisers, hopefully they use a better provider in the future... Was a large fair that has now gone elsewhere

I’ve had two journeys with A1.

One with Driver 82 from Heathrow to Sharnbrook which was so comfortable and clean.

Driver 68 actually saved me and was able to get me to my destination earlier than expected and the whole trip was saved thanks to his driving ability.

What a fantastic experience - I won’t use any other service from now on as they literally saved my whole trip!
