A value for money 4 day holiday to Bournemouth

We went on the London weekend trip. The bus journey was very enjoyable and without any issues. The driver was very entertaining, friendly and helpful. The Leonardo Hotel was great. Overall it was a great weekend and a very good experience. We were unsure we would enjoy it but we did very much so and we are considering more trips. We would recommend this to anyone

Did the wembley and london tour at weekend and enjoyed every min with my son….but bus was 20 mins late and wasn’t a Caledonian bus or driver was passed to the company the day before. We arrived late to the game missed kick off due to getting in late and traffic and to the driver not being given enough time to get where he needed to be and do what was needed to do, not his fault he was brill. down to the company, you need to listen to your drivers. Hotel was fabulous food good and nice to watch planes land/take off at Heathrow. Had no coach toilet on way back had to do a couple of service stops. But all in all a good trip would defiantly book again.

Just completed a lovely weekend trip to Llandudno. I highly recommend, for the price it is fantastic.

Driver/coach:
The driver was called Mick and he was very good, provided all the relevant info and knew things about the local area. Hilarious banter. His coach was immaculate. Very accommodating ?️?

Hotel :

The hotel was called New Loretta hotel. Perfect location. It was as expected for a hotel with 2/3 star rating. Our room was very basic, water damage stains on the wall but spacious with an ensuite that had no mold. The staff were lovely, especially the bar/reception lady.
It also has a heated indoor pool you can use if you walk up to the sister hotel.

The dinner was 3 course with 2 options for starter/pudding and 3 options for the main course. Dinner was at 05:45 and service was fast, the food was hot.

Breakfast was a bit of a faff. You can help yourself to cereal and toast but you have to order the actual breakfast which is full English. We arrived at 8:05 (breakfast starts at 08:00am) and there was already no cereal or orange juice (they had ran out) we waited 20 minutes for replenishment of orange juice. Then we waited for 40 minutes for someone to take our tables order. As we were time conscious we ended up having a breakfast at a nearby Wetherspoons.

Downside:

1)Having to share tables with other diners
2)The breakfast

Upside :

1) the room was very clean
2) friendly staff
3) The location is perfect, you walk outside and turn left then walk straight either way to the main beach and pier or opposite direction for the quiet west shore beach. Next to all the shops/bars/takeaways.
4) the entertainment was good, Bingo and a singer.
5) swimming pool

We were given 4x drinks vouchers each per day. The bar opened from 4pm onwards.

Llandudno/recommended things to do :

Beautiful beach
Boat trips/ Jet ski hire
Great orme copper mine
Cable cars
Ski resort that does Snow tubing and tobogganing
Shopping

Use Cooper's taxis if you need to get around

To conclude: perfect little weekend away, I would definitely rebook this trip! Great value for money 9/10

Ladies in here are very helpful .some not right smilie but do there job well an get to the question uve asked quickly there is a nice lass that stands outside when buses are due to make sure yr on right bus too
