I've recently attended The Isle of Wight trip. It was a day filled with joy, fun, adventure, light and laughter. Beautiful, peaceful and serene place; boat and chairlift rides have added an element of excitement to the trip, as well as provided picturesque views. Shanklin Beach is so serene and soothing... AbdulMalik Tailor provided an Islamic commentary. That, plus a miracle from our holy book you can only witness at The Needles. It was all well organised and executed. I highly recommend it.

MashaAllah had a wonderful walking tour of London and its hidden links to Islam and Muslims.

April 2024
I was particularly impressed by the information on the first coffee houses in London, how they may have facilitated social interactions and exchange of ideas between the different classes, and the opposition to them from the typical drinking houses.

The Muslim History Tours Open Top Bus Tour is a must for anyone looking to gain a deeper understanding of the historical and cultural contributions of Muslims in London. It offers a fresh perspective on the city's history and is suitable for locals and tourists alike. Whether you are a history buff, a student, or simply curious about the rich cultural tapestry of London, this tour is a highly recommended and valuable experience.

We went on the “halal” afternoon tea boat cruise on the Thames as a family. It was a regular cruise but we were served “halal food” in a kitchen that was serving alcoholic to everyone else on board and regular food. I believe our was the only halal meal being served.

The restaurants in this country don’t always offer halal only. So I know what I’m getting in for there. I have not been mislead by them. This tour however, was misleading as we were under the impression it would be alcohol free and a halal environment. Which it was not. Clearly outsourced us to be on a regular trip. This wasn’t made clear. The pictures on the website show the Eid cruise, which is different and I strongly believe you are aware that people will partake in this cruise under the impression that it will be similar to the Eid cruise not an outsourced single ticketed experience. It’s not cheap either and the queue system is terrible when boarding.

This is the owner ladies and gentlemen. See his reply below. Appalling.
As for the belly dancing and “Jesus” statue… ( I see you have taken time out of your day to read my other reviews on Tripadvisor.. I’m so happy to see your employment gives you time to persue extra curricular pleasures such as finding people and trying to pick apart how they live their lives) let me break it down for you. Not that I should respond to playground bully behaviour..

During a VIP desert experience in Dubai (which wasn’t missold to us) the belly dancer came on and then men and children in our party chose to sit elsewhere as the tour guide very kindly made us aware this would begin. How that’s relevant this review is beyond me. As for the statue to which you refer, is actually David. As an art lover I believe it to be a masterpiece. The tour of the Vatican was also exceptional (note it wasn’t with yourself). How that also has anything to do with this review baffles me.
There was no drinking in the Vatican City so again why you bring that up seems a little prejudice.. I mean “Jesus statue” really

I respect other cultures and we travel extensively so I have a good understanding of if I am being mislead in regards to this.

My issue here is that it wasn’t what it said on the tin, so to speak and that was that. For some reason you chosen to then read through old reviews of mine on another platform (creepy) in order to pick out what you thought would suit your narrative.
Apart from being defamation of character.. it’s a little petty.

On another note if you felt we were “sinning” what kind of person would be trying to expose this. What has your journey taught you?

Rather than apologise if anything goes wrong he will try to blame you. I have spoken to another family who experienced similar hostility.

An appaling business and as you can see even more appaling customer service.

Wonderful halal eid cruise! We had our family eid party on this cruise. A lovely family cruise all enjoyed from elders to kids. Halal afternoon tea was a first and with endless cups of tea or coffee we were truly stuffed...and then they offered red velvet cake! I would book again next eid inshallah. Only niggles were couldn't see where the staff were at pick up point initially and my younger kids did not enjoyed food so maybe a few kiddy friendly foods like simple sandwiches or plain biscuits or cakes instead of patisserie standard(although these went down well with the adults!)

I joined the Walthamstow tour and thoroughly enjoyed it. It was a three hour walk starting from Kelmscott Leisure Centre, ending at the William Morris Gallery and with many many stops and nuggets of information along the way. I will definitely be joining some of the other tours on offer following this one.
