We have used John at Eight Roads travel numerous times, for European and long haul holidays, plus city breaks. We heartily recommend him, as we have always found his attention to detail and his level of service exemplary.

We were travelling through India just as the covid outbreak began. John kept us constantly informed and gave us the peace of mind to carry on with our travels. When the situation became difficult, he moved our flights for us so that we could return to the uk before international lockdown. Service like this can not be beaten.

We found John Spencer at Eight Roads Travel Co through a mutual friend and decided to book our honeymoon through him. Just WOW!! Every element of our trip was total perfection and pure and utter luxury! Transport was organised every step of the way and John had organised a little something at every hotel we stayed at which instantly made us smile as soon as we walked through the door.
We went to South Africa, starting at Cape Town which was beautiful. John found us the perfect hotel on the waterfront. Our stay was incredible. We then went to Franschook - wine tasting region and our hotel was a little boutique number, again, just stunning and cosy, warm and friendly.
We travelled to our final lodge in Kariega Game Reserve on the Eastern Cape and this place just blew our minds! Without doubt my favourite part of our honeymoon!
John's attention to detail on every step of our trip was outstanding, wonderful and breath-taking which made our honeymoon simply beautiful and so memorable.
We finished our honeymoon in Mauritius on the beach in pure luxury. Beautiful.
We would recommend Eight Roads Travelled Co to anyone, time and time again. So much nicer and more personal than all the big, same, busy commercial holiday companies. John takes the time to find out who you are, what you love, but also what you never knew you loved!! Outstanding, wonderful and simply the best! Thank you John at Eight Roads Travel Co. John perfectly planned our trip to Sicily. Everything worked like clockwork, and he was always available for follow-ups during our vacation. We ran into an annoying issue with one of the hotels we stayed and couldn’t get it resolved ourselves. John took care of it and saved the day. Thank you and we will be sure to book with you again!

He goes above and beyond in all aspects, from his tips and tricks in cities, invaluable advice on location, early check in requests, little welcome gifts in your (often complimentary upgraded) room. Besides knowing all the hottest properties, John's level of expertise goes even deeper - down to selecting the best rooms on hotels, the best restaurants in the area, and other insider tips. Working with John I've almost always received an upgrade (or two), early/late checkouts, and a bunch of other benefits in addition to the lowest rates. Have not been disappointed since we started working together. Highly recommend.
