My family and I booked a day trip in early August. I tried to book online over a weekend, but the web form wasn't working properly so ended up needing to wait until the Monday and make the booking over the phone, though that was easy enough, but still, the web booking form is there for a reason. The coach depot is on the far west side of the town where they are based and I live on the completely opposite side and don't have a car. The walk is about 45 minutes each way, so given that it was an early start, I asked whether we could be picked up in the town centre. However, they were unable to do so, which was unfortunate. The coach itself was fairly comfortable and very clean and the journey and trip went smoothly. We had a good time on the Norfolk Broads Rail and Sail, which took us on the Bure Valley Railway and the Southern Comfort paddle boat, and an hour at a town in between. We were very tired at the end of the day, and the long journey and asked if we could be dropped off in town, but again they refused and said they can't. This meant we faced the long walk home again, when we were already very tired. I was extremely grateful to two lovely ladies, fellow passengers, who offered us a lift home when we got back to the coach depot. It is such a shame that the company cannot be more accommodating with pick ups and drop offs, as we don't all have the luxury of a car. Given this point, I'm not sure whether I would use the company again, unless there was a trip I was desperate to go on.

I stopped wanting to fly a number of years ago. I wasn’t keen on the idea of a cruise nor a train holiday so that seemed to leave coach holidays. My wife and I tried a continental one with a national coach holiday company. While the holiday itself was good we didn’t enjoy the seemingly eternal feeder coach journey to and from the channel and the hassle involved in changing coaches.
A few years ago a visiting friend mentioned Fenn Holidays. I had never heard of them and then realised they operate about 80 miles away from where we live. While they do pick up their customers, not surprisingly they do not come as far as our location to collect. I checked them out and found that I could leave our car at their depot in March. I liked the idea of the extra legroom on their coaches and the fact that they only stopped at a couple of places to collect customers on the way down to the Channel. The brochure showed a good selection of holidays in the UK and the continent and most journeys went via the tunnel meaning a quicker crossing.
A few years ago we booked our first holiday with Fenn to the Italian lakes and thoroughly enjoyed it. Since then we have been lucky enough to have several continental holidays and have not been disappointed. The holidays have a good included excursion programme. The coaches are very comfortable and the extra legroom does add to the enjoyment and comfort of the journey. With first class drivers and hosts we feel we can relax throughout the holiday knowing that in the unlikely event that there are any issues, we know that they will be resolved. The office staff are really friendly and helpful too.
If you want quality, comfort and enjoyment then Fenn Holidays provide it and more, which is why we are prepared to drive an hour and a half through the night to their depot in March.

Took my husband on his first coach holiday with Fenn holidays. We were picked up from the door by Fenn taxi service. The driver was very helpful and polite. The coach had good spacious seating. Like most coach holidays they do rely on shopping trips but these were interspersed with pleasant garden and historical visits. The hotel we were in was clean and tidy and the staff couldn't do enough for you. If you are looking for a coach holiday I would definitely recommend Fenn holidays.
