A very enjoyable experience delivered by a friendly and knowledgeable chap. He assisted us stepping on the boat (2 grandparents, elder daughter, 5 year old and 7 month old) the cruise itself was relaxing and enjoyable and the guy sailing the boat gave us some very insightful knowledge of the area.

Ely is a beautiful town and this is a very relaxing 30 minute journey that gives you time to take in some of the beauty the town has to offer.

A spontaneous decision turned out to be one of the most enjoyable things we've done in Ely. Relaxing and informative way to see the river. We learnt a lot about the fens and the city. The boat goes at the perfect pace to see the sights. The captain is happy to answer questions.

Fabulous little River trip, suitable for all ages. You get to see the river and riverbank from a totally different angle. Lovely Captain Bob has plenty of historical tales to tell of Ely and the river. Highly recommended!

Fantastic tour! Really informative and lovely little jaunt on the River Great Ouse.

A fabulous way to see the wildlife and picturesque views of Ely. I really enjoyed hearing the history of Ely and the local waterways from the Skipper. The kids absolutely loved it. We must come back to try the food tour!

Amazing trip, from the nostalgic "are you sitting comfortably then well begin" to the background music to the history of Ely. The sun was shining, blue skies it was warm an hour later the heavens opened and we got lost, reminder to self, don't leave the phone in the car.
