We went through Sophie at Lightfoot Travel to book accommodation for my in-laws for our wedding in Puglia, as well as a stay for us newlyweds for our mini-moon. She was incredibly knowledgeable about the area and recommended the best hotels. We eventually decided on Masseria Torre Maizza, a Rocco Forte hotel, and were absolutely blown away by it. Knowing that Sophie was across the booking gave complete peace of mind that my in-laws were in safe hands, which always helps in the lead up to a wedding! When we arrived for our mini-moon, there was a bottle of champagne as well as photo from our wedding day which was a lovely touch. We felt completely spoilt and can't thank Sophie enough for all her help. We would definitely book through Lightfoot again.

We had the most incredible honeymoon to Sardinia! Sophie from Lightfoot Travel couldn't have organised it better for us. From recommending hotels, activities & restaurants- to having a photo of us from our wedding with a note in each hotel we checked into. It was so special and we are so thankful for their services! Photo from our final hotel; Cala di Volpe which I also couldn't recommend more!

I highly recommend Nico and his team at Lightfoot. They organised a once in a lifetime trip for my family and I to South Africa and then onto Mozambique. The safari lodge and whole experience was absolutely amazing and perfect for our two girls as well- who loved it. Then some beach and R&R in beautiful Mozambique.
The lightfoot app was really useful for the itinerary, boarding passes etc- the whole thing was seamless and stress free. A great holiday- thank you Nico!

I have been a Lightfoot client for over a decade and this most recent Southern Africa safari was tailored perfectly to my needs and Nico's understanding of Africa. The itinerary gave me the full breadth and depth not only of locations and natural diversity but also of the diversity in luxury which I had requested. I had 30+ days of travel and the seamless integration of the lodge experience with the transport enabled me to be entirely at ease and present in the safari experience. From the addition of a Namibia coastal experience thru to the end at the lower Zambezi region, the entire itinerary was flawless. Nico understood what camps to spend two nights in and which ones to spend four or more. And getting the variety of camp experiences really made each lodge special - so even after 40+ game drives and 15+ walking safaris, each day was a surprise and a delight. If you are thinking of doing Southern Africa (or Peru or Sri Lanka or Indonesia or Iceland and more - all of which Lightfoot has done for us!) Lightfoot will provide an unsurpassed local knowledge combined with a magnificent selection of options tailored to your specific needs and outcomes from every trip. Worked with Nikki who planned a compressive 2 week Egypt/Istanbul trip. Seamless itinerary development as she included special requests, reviewed options for hotels, provided in depth suggestions for restaurants, shopping etc. and her personal insights which proved so helpful. No detail left out. Responsive every step of the way, including quickly adjusting when we had to cancel part of the trip. Always had our interests front and center.
