Our driver, Bill, was excellent. He was not only professional but also kind and attentive to everyone on our bus. I felt very safe and comfortable during our very long drive through the mountains. He was knowledgeable about the areas we traveled as well. The patience he demonstrated throughout the four days we traveled with him (on a bus full of rowdy middle schoolers) is exceptionally noteworthy, never once did it waiver. He always welcomed us back from each stop with a smile and genuine joy. People like him make the world a truly pleasant place. Thank you, Bill for an amazing trip!!

I was not a chaperone, but I knew several of the moms that went and were sending pictures and from their reports and for my eighth graders report, they had an absolutely incredible time! They are happy with the bus conditions the drivers tour guides the accommodations the bed was comfy The only thing that got confusing is the terminology between vouchers until Card. My kid was making food purchases coming off there till card when they should’ve been using vouchers other than A++

My son recently went on the 8th grade DC trip. He had a good time, his favorite part was the bus, and Philadelphia

My son had a great time on this trip! He got to see so much history in DC and make memories with his friends before entering high school. He also got to fly on a plane which he’d only done once before. I remember doing this trip in high school so nostalgic a little - wish I could have chaperoned but too expensive - chaperones should get a discount. I love the photo but would have been nice if it was packaged flat or framed. His got folded up so I will have to try to get the creases out. Trip app was great too!

Overall, it was a great experience. Minor adjustments would make it perfect in the future (change the fudge shop to a different one, the kids didn't like the fudge, and no kid likes white chocolate pecan fudge either). Also, more kid friendly bus meals like turkey or chicken, the kids didn't like pork sandwiches or the Mac n Cheese. Excursions were great and the buses were wonderful. It was well thought out and planned.

Overall good experience for the kids. I wish us chaperones were a little more informed on what was expected. The timeline was very very rushed. I think the kids should’ve had more time at less places to actually see what Washington DC actually has to offer

The trip as a whole was good. There was some issues with the organization of the trip, such as sending a 190 13 year olds into Union Station at 6pm on a Friday to eat at the food court.

The biggest issue was the bus driver. For the entire ride to Washington she was swerving which at first concerned me she was intoxicated but then I saw she was unwrapping her bag of individually wrapped candies. When we got to Washington she consistently got lost and at one point we were in a subdivision blowing through stop signs. I suppose we didn’t kill anyone we are aware of and we didn’t end up crashing so that’s a bonus.

I realize Student Adventures probably contracts the buses but that company was not a good choice.

We had a great trip to Washington DC. Kim did an excellent job as our leader from Student Adventures, and Allister was an amazing bus driver! They made the trip awesome!
