This hotel was well presented. the room was comfortable and all the facilities that i would expect were there. (I would of preferred a show that didn't have a foxed head). The welcome from the receptionist was warm and friendly. Although next to the A12, I couldn't hear the traffic - my room overlooked it - and I had a good night's sleep. Excellent value for £38.

Dekota, she provide a good service and customer dealings.||Good stay. Clean rooms and great service from all staff. Easy to check in and all the staff were extremely friendly and welcoming on my arrival. Would definitely recommend staying here

Booking and check-in is a breeze. The room itself had everything we needed. However, this Travelodge is right next to the A12 which is perfect for anyone headed onward to Norwhich and beyond, but the road noise is terrible! So be warned if you are someone like myself that needs quiet in order to sleep well. If so, the Travelodges in central Ipswich are likely to be much quieter.

I have literally never been in a hotel room as loud as this . You may as well setup a camp bed next to the A12. I can’t see how anyone would be able to sleep here. I Can only assume they have zero sound proofing. Such amazingly poor quality. I’d rather never travel again than have to stay here

Rooms were clean , staff friendly, funky smell in the corridor. You need ear plugs has it's very noisy from the road x

We stayed here as a good location to get into Colchester and a lot cheaper than surrounding budget hotels (under £30 for the night booked a fortnight in advance). It’s certainly budget, was a hot night with just a fan, but perfectly fine for a night. Restaurant under the underpass (Cappadocia) was superb.

Stopped here as we were at a wedding . Thought we would also visit the area. Staff friendly , no noise from inside the building , but you here the road from the rooms. Horrible smells in the corridors.

Noisy next to the motorway and hotel and rooms in general were a bit too warm but value for money for a family of 4 for 1 night.
Staff were very nice and friendly and also helpful when I couldnt work out the key fob?
