Lovely visitor centre, great place for a walk and a cup of tea, the only reason for 3 stars is the cost of parking £2.00 per hour ! It feels like a complete rip-off. To have a small walk and then stop in the dog friendly cafe for a cup of tea and some cake, took just over an hour and that then cost £4 for parking and I was constantly worried about the timing and not wanting to go over the time in case I then got charged £6 ! Lovely place, but I won't be going back in a hurry as the cost of parking puts me off.

This is a great place to walk, relax, do water sports, picnic or even BBQ (as long as it is raised from the ground). You can hire kayaks, pedalos, paddleboards and boats from the water centre. Plenty of parking.

Campsite is well maintained with good facilities. Plenty of daytime activities & areas to explore. Nice beach area with lifeguards. A shame that the restaurant/food outlets all close at 5pm.

Very nice open space, area has changed a lot since my last visit. I like the play area and found that they have spaces for camping and caravans. Plus, the cows that are there as well, with suitable warnings about approaching them, cycling trails, water sports.

Beautiful place to walk, or cycle and if you're into water sports it seemed great! We enjoyed walking around the water today and seeing some highland cows near the "end" (which for some might be the beginning). Parking is quite steep at the visitor centre costing us £10, but there are other car parks which take cash only (which we didn't have).

Okay cafe, very basic food, not the healthiest options available. Classics like a sausage roll, sandwich or a toastie for lunch. Nothing that exciting. Clean toilet / baby change facilities which helps! Nice playground, it's a shame that there's goose poop everywhere on the grounds, near the water. We will come back to try out the watersports equipment once our LO is a bit older!

Spent a lovely few hours here for a walk around, watch the activities on the water, check out the campsite and have a packed lunch in the sunshine.

Lovely venue. Not been here for years. Parking isn't too high. Great run or bike loop either about 7 miles if you cut across the bridge or 9.5 miles if you do the whole thing.
Great cafe at the end waiting for you.
