I went on The Kentish Lady River Cruise today (Aug 29th 2024). This was my first time and it was thoroughly enjoyable. It was extremely organised with getting us onto the boat to ensure there was no scrambling, and that parties got to sit together..

They were knowledgeable about the area and very happy to explain how the locks work and why! A very pleasant 3 hours of peace without being able to use your mobile phone. And the weather and fish and chips lunch just topped the day off.

I would definitely recommend The Kentish Lady, and I will definitely book another cruise with them in the future.

We had an amazing time on the hire boat due 2 hours. What a way to spend a summer's day. Cruising down the river, driving the boat, past stunning scenery, wildlife, and even a castle. Loved it.

Had a trip today with Epsom coaches to the Kentish Lady with fish & chip lunch and fresh fruit to follow all very tasty. The staff are very welcoming and so well organised. It is truly a lovely way to spend 3 hours felt very relaxed when I got back l on the coach to return home. With many thanks hope to return in the future.

Maidstone to Allington - Been meaning to do this we moved to Maidstone 5 years ago. Really nice relaxing trip £10 return for adults reasonable. And a place to get a beer at each end (and a bar on board too)

Great service one of the best places to visit who care, we were at my Father in laws at Kent and decided to book this for the family.
The Lady who was dealing with us took the booking then the next day she phoned in the morning to say it was forecast for rain and would I like a refund I was so surprised that they went out of their way to tell us and to offer a refund, I told her we were looking forward to it and we would take a chance. We arrived and the rain stayed away and the guy who went through the boat safety was nice to the whole family. It is a little gem that is hidden in the town centre and I thought they need a big thank you for making our day and shown they care ?

I’m a carer and I took a client on one of the 3 hour trips . The two hosts Michael & Nick were very obliging ,friendly and knowledgeable about the area .There was plenty of space to move about the boat and the views were clear and the boat was much quieter than some I’ve been on abroad!
We enjoyed drinks from the bar and the use of onboard toilets and a fish and chip dinner was efficiently provided on our way out . We had great weather too and the whole trip flowed smoothly so you could relax . A big thankyou to all the crew for making our afternoon a real pleasure .
