Done the Red Sands Towers boat trip from Southend Pier on 09/08 and really enjoyed it. We got nice close up views of the Mulberry Harbour, Red Sands Towers and the SS Richard Montgomery masts. Brilliant commentary was provided on the boat and there was plenty of people of many ages on the trip too. Bring your own packed lunch, put on a hat and some sunscreen, take a light jacket with you (it can get pretty windy out on the Thames Estuary), take plenty of pictures and be prepared to get sprayed a few times. Highly recommended and will do this again in future!

Really enjoyed a day out with jet stream for viewing of such a historical place. My family remained very comfortable and they liked the trip very much. All the crew were very friendly and helpful. Washrooms were spacious and very clean. Downstairs there was enough space to sit and dine in. Only I will suggest it the glass windows could be refurbished as they were in bad condition. Thank you jetstream

Really enjoyed this day out. The boat was really clean, especially the toilets, which I hadn't expected. Very interesting talk about the history of Southend Pier and the Thames estuary by the Captain. The Crew were friendly. The bar on the boat had a nice selection of beers, and tea and coffee in a proper cup. It was a nice day out.

A great experience. The weather wasn't great on the day I went admittedly so I wasn't looking forward to it as much as I would of done had it been nicer. But it was still a great day. The staff was really friendly and made the trip really interesting giving great commentary about the surrounding area and history. The boat ride was really smooth and it helped having a bar where your able to purchase food and drink. This is a must do and well worth the money.

Yet another fabulous tour with Jetstream Boat Tours! The sea forts and the SS Montgomery Ship Wreck are not going to be around forever so took the opportunity to go see them up close and so glad I did. My 6 year old son loved it and was soaking up the bits of information provided by the commentary and by myself and loved the time spent on board, including the bar snacks & drinks 🙂 also the toilets were spotlessly clean and pleasant to use.

A really good boat trip around the red forts & Montgomery's wreck.
To me it was very surreal & you could almost hear the 'aahooo!' sound from War of the Worlds!
So stark planted there far out, in middle of the water.

A clean boat & drinks & snacks a board.
Crew were efficient & helpful & the commentary was excellent, I don't think he missed a thing.

Toilets clean & easy to access..
We met at the end of the pier, the weather was perfect.
This was in late July.
Many more trips to try on my return.

We had a fantastic experience with Jetstream Tours this past weekend! We took the tour from Southend Pier to the Red Sand Towers/Maunsell Forts. The boat was comfortable with all the amenities we needed. Captain Robert's local and historical knowledge was incredible. We learned so much! And getting the chance to be up close to the towers was so exciting. What a beautifully haunting sight. Would recommend Jetstream Tours and can't wait to go out on another tour.

This was an amazing and very enjoyable trip. The crew, Chris , Richard and Sean, were very friendly and very knowledgeable and I would highly recommend this to anyone. The Maunsel Forts were incredible to see, as well as learning the history behind them, and a lot of other interesting facts, as well as getting to see the masts of the sunken ship, Montgomery. It was a lovely day out, and very reasonable. Thank you to the crew.
