I was aware of Max as a few Freinds had their hair done by him. When it was time for my first real style (been a short back & sides man) I knew it had to be Max to do the job. After viewing his socials to get an idea of what I liked, I booked and visited him. We bounced idea’s back and forth about what style I wanted and how we was going to achieve it. Max filled me with confidence and trust. And just like that! I’ve never been so happy with my hair. From day one he listed and showed his knowledge and skills. Crux Barbershop is hands down the best barbershop in the area! Max is super friendly, professional, and really takes the time to make sure you get exactly the cut you want. Met Max today after he rescued my son’s hair after he had been butchered by another hairdresser yesterday. Max asked and listened to everything Noah was wanting and explained how he was going to achieve it. We were so thrilled at the results, I will add pictures of before and after. ( the first one is before if you couldn’t have guess from another Retford barbers and then the rest are after Max’s rescue cut!). Noah has now had his confidence and trust restored. Thank you again so much Max and we have booked again for 3 weeks time 🙂 if you are considering a new hairdresser give this guy a try you will not be disappointed!

Saw Max and his barbershop, Crux, on social media and decided to book in for a full restyle. Max is an absolutely top bloke—really professional, friendly, and clearly passionate about what he does. Was recommend to me by a friend. Brilliant Barber, great lad, very good hair cut and beard trim. Good to see a traditional local barber in town. Took my lad back today for his hair who’s also really impressed, the barber also took time to have a conversation with my child too. Like the booking system, easy to use and saves hours waiting. Highly recommend we will both be back.
