The process is quick and easy (On nights) but the site itself is old and tired, the entry bridge with speed bumps at the start and end just makes a complete arse of things making traction a massive issue having to start on a very slippery surface at a steep angle, very unnecessary, lighting is "ok" in the parking areas, but not great, bay angles are OK, but not great when combing with "ok" lighting, half the paint on the numbers and codes is worn out and unreadable, half the signing is strewn around with little clarity and logic (you can work it out but its a bit naff tbh), overall a little money is needed to be spent on this site to bring it up to standard, it looks just the same as it did when I was coming in here nearly a decade ago - just worn out !

Very long delays, sometimes it goes quick, typical U.K. Site rules.
Friendly people unless you make a mistake….. then they love to make you feel like a very tiny and stupid driver.

Just off the A160 heading into Immingham. Head for West Bank Riverside terminal. Check with security if not sure good helpful lads they will put you right. When you've booked in wait to be called on to the boat. Deckhands first class and guide you into park. Covid aware and rules and regulations are enforced. Once you have been allocated your cabin off you go to the appropriate deck. Room is very clean and tidy with a nice armour. Food is good limited choice as you would expect but good. Long crossing plenty of time to chill. A great experience looking forward to my next crossing well done DFDS.. Recently been back they are maintaining high standards despite covid

On the ball. Very efficient and well coordinated business. Visiting drivers may struggle a little with the computerised booking in system, but when you get the hang of it, it all just falls into place
