The people. |I was told by the lovely Marie Cheryl had left. But to my surprise when I arrive back on work trip Cheryl had return. These two ladies make my work trip so much more enjoyable. |They are helpful and nothing is too much hassle. |I have the best chats with Cheryl before I even get to my room. Hard being a single female travelling with work. Knowing there is someone there is a huge comfort. |Keep up the good work and thank you for always having a brilliant smile on your face. ||The rooms |Rooms are spotless. Cleaner than some 4 star hotels I have stayed in. |Rooms are big beds are comfy. Tea coffee making facilities. Tv. |Only thing some rooms are hard to get signal on your phone. Make use of the 30min free WiFi. ||Nearby|Few restaurants within walking distance. |Small shopping complex with tkmaxx home bargains coffee shop sports direct nearby. ||Can uber eats if you can’t be bothered venturing out. But make sure u have signal.

We stayed for 3 nights, the hotel was clean, it's fairly new as it located on the site of an old bingo hall. The one member of staff we dealt with was great, very helpful, knew the area very well, as she lived locally, so recommended many places to go and eat or for days out etc. Very nice to chat to also, I used to live in Mansfield until 2015, it's changed a bit, but she knew how it used to be, so we shared memories of some of the good places that are either still there, or have disappeared over the years. The bed was very comfortable, there was very little noise from the road thar runs down the side of the hotel, it's very well double glazed for this reason. Plenty of parking which is free after 5pm every day. Thank you for a great 3 night stay!!!

Marie was such a brilliant member of staff here. Was extremely helpful and gave us some great advice when it came to restaurants, ensuring that we knew she was around to help out. Such a welcoming presence! ||The only complaint I have is how loud the air con is as it woke me up a few times.

Stayed at many different Travelodge hotels over the years visiting family, but this has been by far my worst experience with one.
Because we were on the main road side we could hear all the traffic, boy races and more as no soundproofing. Beds uncomfortable and bumpy has air con but so noisy you can't get to sleep so I ended up turning it off.
We had a disabled room and the sink and toilet were so close together you could wash hands while sat on the toilet.
On a positive note the staff are very friendly and helpful and because of it's location there are places to eat close by.

I came for a short stay from sunday to tuesday whilst visiting family.

I was greeted by Marie on check-in who was lovely, friendly and welcoming.

The room was absolutely lovely! Spacious with amazing (and much needed!) air con so I could stay refreshingly cool in the heatwave.

I do wish the bathroom was a little bigger, but it was big enough to do what was needed.

Room was perfectly clean and tidy, not a single complaint.

Very quiet, no noise problems, slept like a baby. 🥰

Had a nice view (for mansfield) outside the window too.

Only downside was the vending machine charged me 1.70 for a can of coke and 2.70 for a bag of maltesers. Gutted! (But expected, and im assuming now owned or priced by the hotel).

I would definitely stay again, reasonably priced, perfectly situated in the town center.

Only paid £38 for 3 of us, and our stay exceeded all expectations. Very comfortable beds, very clean and fresh. Nice view of railway bridge.

Had a lovely stop here the last couple of weeks I’ve stayed but the most stand out thing is how good the staff are especially Marie she makes my stay here the most enjoyable stay she even makes sure I have enough tea and milk sugar she’s a superstar makes the stay so much easier And a really good job from her

Very nice hotel, quiet, clean and convenient. Walking distance to market square. (Bit of a rough area) Lots of restaurants and pubs. Only breakfast box available as no kitchen. But overall not bad.
