Fantastic little museum. Lots to look at. Not a huge museum. With children and a stop for lunch id say it's 2 hours maximum. Some interactive scalextric sets for children. Worth a look and tickets aren't expensive. Cafe on site mainly selling cooked meals rather than pre packed sandwiches. Huge shop - shop itself nearly as big as the museum.

OMG! It's like my childhood! I didn't buy anything in the shop, because if I started...! It's a little small, but has three train layouts, three scalextrics and lots of details about the history of those toys. So many airfix models! Definitely recommend, though just about half a day if you have kids and visit the cafe.

What an amazing place this is! Showcasing the history of Hornby, Scalextric and Corgi models. With detailed information on the creation of these collectables from the beginning of each model it was a pleasure to walk around and use the interactive displays. They also have a well stocked shop and cafe.

Fun place for a visit. Lots of cool models and toys and an interesting look at how they are designed and made. Particular treat for fans of James Bond as they have a lot of Bond film toys and models. Reasonably priced too!

Visiting was a itch that needed scratching and I am glad I did but it was let down by the restaurant. Yes it was busy but not packed, however the empty tables had not been cleared or wiped clean and were sticky. We ordered two coffees, a piece of cake and a sausage roll and the young lad serving us immediately forgot our order and then he dropped one of the coffees all over the floor. The cutlery was dirty and there were no napkins. The shop was well stocked and the exhibitions were really good.
