An excellent cottage stay in a peaceful location with countryside views and garden. Friendly owners. Handy for all parts of the Dorset coast and towns.

Positive: Beautiful part of Dorset - it was so quiet at the cottage and we ate breakfast outside in the garden. Lovely village with the Red Lion pub being just a short walk where we found great service, excellent food and a lovely atmosphere. We would stay again.. Negative: The cottage is well equipped, although provision of oil would have been useful for cooking (we bought butter and other food with us but didn’t think we needed oil), and single beds upstairs are small - so most suitable for children or shorter adults..

Sweet little property. Probably benefit from some freshening up, repositioning some light switches and a spring clean. Convenient for Dorset attractions but very little in village. Host introduced himself and was available if required. Easy to gain access on arrival. Good value.

Positive: The cottage is so nice and cosy with everything you need in it. Negative: Cleaning could be better all the mirrors were dirty and quite a few cobwebs round the place . The kettle was full of limescale that needs sorting but on the whole it was pretty clean to be fair. I had a very bad fall in the bath the first morning due to the mat that was in the bath and i have a very painful and purple leg i did show the lady so she knows the mat needs replacing fortunately im not the type to put in a claim..

Just back from a great week, accommodation was just perfect for me, but bear in mind it isn't the largest of places and if you're travelling with older children it may be a bit of a squeeze. The location is great, very quiet with helpful owners on hand if you need them, but not intrusive if you don't!. It's a short walk to a choice of 3 pubs, and 2 large, well stocked shops. Everyone I met in the village was very friendly too! There are a huge amount of attractions close, my only real regret is that I didn't stay for longer!
