What a fabulous pub, great menu and friendly efficient staff. Prices are good and the portions are generous. A good selection of vegetarian food and plenty of beers and wines to choose from. It is a good idea to book especially at weekend and if you want to dine indoors - there is a great beer garden but it cools down fast on an evening

Had Sunday lunch here. Our first visit since the improvements they have done, and it was brilliant. Friendly and attentive staff who obviously enjoy their work (you can tell, can't you?), The food was absolutely fantastic. Roast beef, pork and lamb all tender and tasty and the vegetables were perfectly cooked. Plentiful portions too. Can't recommend this place highly enough, well worth the drive down the cliff road.

My boyfriend and I visited Niton for a few days and stayed at the lovely Boatyard Airbnb nearby. We visited this pub every day for food and drinks and the service and staff were amazing, especially Amelia and Hayley who were super helpful, professional and friendly. We’ll be back next year😁

We’ve been here twice now & can’t fault it. Booked under Simms/Hawkesworth. Lovely big portions & fresh food. Pub food but with a home cooked feel. Great choice of drinks & attentive service in a lovely setting. Definitely becoming a firm favourite. Super dog friendly. Personal opinion- but i feel like some of the low rating reviews totally unfair. We didn’t have any nasty microwaved food or sloppy service & can’t truly imagine it to be the case.

Thank you for the lovely service & food 🥰

Thanks for a fab birthday!

We are an LGBTQI+ couple and booked a couple of nights at the Inn for my birthday as a mini-getaway whilst visiting family who live on the island.

We noted the occasion in our booking and were given a beautiful room with a huge window overlooking the sea (this might have been a coincidence, but was lovely nonetheless!)

The breakfast choices for veggies were good with an equal amount of meat options. It was also quite generously portioned with juice/coffee/cereal as well as the cooked menu.

The staff were lovely. They let us leave our bags downstairs when we arrived several hours early, gave me a little birthday treat on the night we ate at the pub, and even let us hide out from some unruly pub guests in the garden when we didn't feel safe with them knowing we were staying - they handled that situation very professionally!

Overall I'd say this is a great spot for a quaint and quiet experience with lovely well-equipped rooms and a cosy feel.
