Honeyguide holidays offer wildlife holidays taken at a slow pace so as to enjoy the environment and the wildlife to be observed.
I have been on 8/9Honeyguide holidays and have enjoyed the uniqueness of each one.
Levels of interest within the holiday group is variable and l am sure we all benefit from sharing our individual knowledge with each other and the very knowledgeable tour leader/s
The hotels used are family run and offer a friendly base from which venture each day
I have already booked one Honeyguide for 2024 and will no doubt add to that.

Algarve, Nov. 2023. As a 'rookie' Honeyguider on this trip I was apprehensive. Recently retired, I was travelling alone and an inexperienced traveller. I worried - would I get there in good order.; would people be friendly; would I be shunned because of my lack of knowledge?
I needn't have worried at all. From my first enquiry, our tour leader was helpful and friendly and his enthusiasm for his subject was palpable. His Portuguese counterpart was equally knowledgeable with a remarkable ability to find and trap reptiles and invertebrates humanely, so that we all had a chance to see them.
Our hotel in Alte was comfortable, providing satisfying meals, friendly service and a warm welcome, with spectacular views and scenery to die for. The second hotel had no dining facility but it gave us the chance to sample the local cuisine.
Each day's itinerary included different types of landscape and habitat, with wildlife in abundance, The wonderful weather was a bonus at 24 degrees+. You could almost believe our leaders had arranged it specially!
I have already booked my next trip - Crete in April.

Great holidays :knowledgeable and friendly leaders ; all forms of fauna and flora are covered allowing for the various interests of Honeyguiders . The company is always convivial and peoples individual catering needs/wants are met . Cannot praise Honeyguide enough and am looking forward to 2024 holidays .

Excellent wildlife days and tours which we cannot recommend too highly. Leisurely and yet full of interest, they are very well organised and led by real experts.
