Fantastic service from Elizabeth at Evans Halshaw Ford. I came in very late afternoon and they couldn’t get everything done in the time that I left them. As I’d already been dropped off and live an hour away they drove me to the nearest train station and even offered to pay for my train ticket, then completed the deal the following day. You don’t often see service like that anymore. 5* even bought me some Jaffa cakes while I was waiting!

We have just purchased a nearly new Ford focus St line X from Liz at Evans Halshaw Wolverhampton. The car was in perfect condition inside and out. Liz was helpful and kept us up to date through out the process. I purchased my 2022 Ford Puma and it had a slow puncture from the off so I asked for it to sorted out because I noticed it when I first looked around the car. This took over a month to sort out which was not great as I was having to pump up the tyre daily.

Whilst I was waiting for the tyre to be replaced the airbag warning light came on. I went to the service desk and I was told that it was meant to be on. At this I took it to my friend who owns his own garage and he said take it back as it shouldn't be on.
When I took the car back one of the service staff came out and agreed that it shouldn't be on and booked my car in for repair. When the car went in for the airbag fault they turned the light off but when I got back in the car it was back on.
I was then told it needed a new airbag wiring harness so that was ordered and I was told I would get call in 5 to 7 days to get the car booked in. 2 weeks later I still hadn't had a call so I popped into ford to see what was happening as I was driving around in a car with a defective tyre and airbag warning light on.
The response I got was the wiring harness had not been ordered so I would have to wait another 7 to 10 days for that to come. When I asked about my tyre they said if they ordered 1 it would be in the following day, I wasn't happy about that as I had already waited 1 month for the tyre, When I said I wanted one putting on while I was there they miraculously found a tyre.

Eventually the airbag wiring harness came and was fitted the warning light was no longer on but when I went across to where my car was parked the mirror cap of the passenger side mirror had been scraped down something but not reported. I had to go back to the service department and complain about this. To have the mirror cap resprayed took nearly 2 months.

My car is now ok touch wood. I purchased the car on 31.12.24 and it has taken till 08.05.25 to get these 3 things sorted out. 2 of them was reported within 2 weeks of purchasing the car and 1 that was down to Ford staff.

I don't think this is acceptable from a main dealer. I have always had a Ford but never had such poor after care before very disappointed.

A friendly service with good support. An issue with the windscreen was identified and Aimee highlighted this with an E Mail prior to arrival. We discovered a slight split in the leather rear seat. What I liked was the fact we are able to get both jobs complete at a local Evans Halshaw. Aimee was helpful ad polite throughout the whole process

I recently bought an MG HS from Evans Halshaw, and I can’t thank Kaitlin Hill enough for making the whole experience such a positive one. Due to medical reasons I wasn’t able to travel to the dealership, so everything had to be done online, which I thought might be stressful. But Kaitlin went above and beyond to make the process smooth and reassuring.

She arranged several Teams calls with me, took the time to record detailed walk-around videos of the car, and always made herself available to answer any questions I had — and I had plenty! Nothing was ever too much trouble, and her quick replies and friendly manner made me feel completely at ease.

It honestly felt like she cared about me getting the right car rather than just making a sale, which is rare and really appreciated. Thanks to her help, I felt confident every step of the way, and I’m absolutely delighted with my new MG HS.
