I had a very disappointing experience with Ecomove Bristol. Items were listed on their website as available and ready to purchase, but in reality, they were being sourced from another company. This makes it look like products are in stock and ready to ship, when they are not.

Communication was poor and unprofessional. When I emailed to ask for an update, I was told they would “find out”, but I never received any follow-up. The only solution offered was a refund, which didn’t actually solve my problem or help me get what I ordered.

In the end, I got more help and information by contacting Tenways directly than I ever did from Ecomove.

I expected transparency and basic customer service, but unfortunately, neither was delivered.

Nilloy and the team have been very helpful in the purchase of 2 ADO folding e-bikes through the cycle 2 work scheme. They were in constant correspondence throughout the process. The showroom in Bristol has lots of bike to look over and as I said the team were very friendly. Highly recommend using this store!

So friendly and helpful. We got a Yuba electric conversion bike in the autumn and it's totally opened up Bristol for me and my two kids, who love riding on the back. We hardly use the car now and it's such a great way to get around. There's so much space to carry stuff and it's really comfortable. Nilloy and the team were so helpful and we've been able to go back to make some small adjustments to the bike - which they happily and helpfully did for us to make sure it's really comfortable and works for us. Would so recommend this bike and this shop.

Avoid EcoMove at all costs — especially if your issue involves Nilloy.

Im not one to post reviews but I feel like my experience needs to be shared. I purchased a brand-new electric bike from EcoMove, expecting a reliable product and decent service. What I got instead was months of stress, wasted time, and what honestly feels like being completely ripped off.

From the start, the bike had serious electrical issues. It spent more time with EcoMove for repairs than it did in my actual possession. Despite replacing multiple parts, the problems were never fixed. Eventually, they gave me a replacement — an ex-display bike — and unbelievably, it also broke down due to electrical faults on the first ride, just a few days after receiving it.

Things only got worse from there. I was told EcoMove was trying to get a refund for me from Revolutionworks (the manufacturer), but they had gone out of business. I waited four months with barely any communication. When I finally heard back, they offered me a partial refund of £750, claiming it was due to “heavy use” — despite the fact I hardly got to use the bike at all because it was constantly being repaired.

To make matters worse, at one point, there was a full month of silence from EcoMove because Nilloy, the person handling my case, was apparently on holiday. There was no handover, no one else to speak to — just radio silence. I was left completely in the dark with a £1,500 faulty bike and no support.

After initially accepting the £750 offer out of desperation, I waited another month with no payment. I contacted Citizens Advice and learned I was legally entitled to a full refund, so I declined the offer. EcoMove then offered £800 as a “final offer.” At this point, my mental health was so severely affected by the whole process that I felt pressured to settle for £800, just to be done with it. I had no time or energy left to go through the full small claims process. I still feel completely robbed.

As if that wasn’t enough, my mum also had a terrible experience with EcoMove. She had her scooter wheel replaced over a year ago — and it’s still leaking air to this day. She returned to have it fixed, but they clearly didn’t do the job properly. Either no one checks their work, or they simply don’t care.

I don’t know who runs this place or who’s doing the repairs, but it feels like they’re all sharing one brain cell. The lack of professionalism, communication, and accountability is unbelievable.

Please think twice before giving this company your money. Once you’ve paid, any sense of customer service disappears. If you have any issues, be prepared for endless delays, excuses, and to fight just to get what you're legally owed.

Bring the bike down 4 times due to an issue with my himiway big dog ebike the controller was the main problem to the bike and also the wiring from the manufacturer was not 100% EcoMove changed the wires as per measure a d yesterday took it out for a spin and the one thing they forget to do is to update the speed on the bike this was not a problem for me
