Bristol city council bins and recycling. What a waste of time this is. My brother is severely disabled and has assisted collection of the large black bins. They are accessible on the drive, no gates. My brothers career is not allowed to put them out and I am not there everyday to do this. The bins are often missed and I have rang on several occasions and they say 48hours. We ring again and still another 48hours!!! We have waited a month before now and in hot weather, non was full of maggots and stinking. It is now happening again. I have raised 2 formal complaints and still nothing. I’m thinking of stopping payment of council tax or dumping rubbish on the street. Maybe get some response then. Absolute joke

I’ve been a Tax paying owner occupier under their regime for 38 years. It’s eye wateringly expensive & you get v little in return. They are ineffective and inept & you might as well throw the cash into a furnace to at least heat yourself. I’ve also worked for them as a Freelance Contractor & they’re dreadful employers. So poor is their IT they employ you for 3 months first just to train you on it. After that you are sent out ‘ trained ‘only to be micro managed and subjected to constant passive aggressive treatment.
Consequently the turnover of Staff is horrifying.
I have seen how much of my Council Tax and my Income Tax is wasted by totally inept management incompetent systems & their non compliant data. I’m astonished they haven’t ended up causing more impact on Tenants & members of public.
Their housing is so bad they are in Special Measures under Registered providers of social housing. Shocking and shameful.

Just been charged £69.00 for a clean airzone fine for taking a wrong turn.

You are taking money from the working class, the whole 6day thing should be advertised properly.. I was expecting a letter asking for the minimum payment, not a extortionate increase.

Your roads are a total disgrace, no road markings anywhere.. quite dangerous to drive not mention the confusing road layout.

I will never ever step foot in your city again.

You are hated by the masses.

Been traveling to Bristol airport the same route for 20 years. Long behold bought a new car and boom 2 penalties. Total zero leniency even though I explained in detail my dificult situation. Your new money making scam will really hurt your local businesses. Myslef and probably many others will not be using Bristol Airport and spend money on route no more.

I used to love Bristol and was proud to be from the City. I absolutely hate it now. Rubbish everywhere, 'tags' and poor graffiti everywhere. Drunken and drugged up layabouts everywhere. Terrible road network, that is literally falling apart. Terrible planning decisions. Too many student flats.Militant cyclists that never stop fat red lights and a council that wastes millions of pounds on cycle paths that are not used, ridiculous bus lanes, livable neighbourhoods, etc. Also the council does not answer any letters. I currently am waiting for replies to 4 letters about council tax and reports about fly tipping that has not been resolved. Totally incompetent council, not fit for purpose.

I wish our local town hall looked like this. The fountain was kind of gross and full of rubbish one end and what was with the decorative traffic cone 😂

Only seen the building, which is beautiful. I'm sure there's plenty of tomfoolery going on inside.
