Highly recommended! Pete and his wife drove me around the Cotwolds for three days. Always perfectly on time. Clearly communicated prices and very reasonable. Look no further; this is the taxi company of choice in the area.

Good service & car but he charged double what was quoted (which was still nearly 50% more than another firm). Currently taking the matter up with Trading Standards as Charlbury Taxis won't respond to my attempts to contact them. Beware and check that a quote for a round trip is for the entire journey and not each way !

Update: I am pursuing the overcharged amount through a formal procedure so not appropriate to mention here.

Tried to book a taxi and was told that a price to get to me would be put in place of £28 plus the fare on top bear in mind I'm only 15 mins away from Charlbury. Wouldnt recommend and wasnt helpful towards me..EDIT: maybe if you want to get more customers I'd recommend how you speak to them in comments as who said I expected a taxi service for peanuts. Theres a difference between expecting something for peanuts and ripping people off..

Horrible Service ! They dont reply to any messages nor they pick up ! Not using them ever again but I couldnt even if I wanted as they dont pick up anyway ! AVOID & dont count on them ..

Fantastic service. Quickest response time after trying some other taxi services in the area. Saved our day after a long walk to diddly squat farm! Super friendly, and a luxury ride to top it off! Strongly recommend, thanks again Natasha! ☺️

Friendly local company saved our day yesterday! We'd taken the bus out to Diddly Squat Farm, Jeremy Clarkson's farm, but we knew there wouldn't be a bus back til an hour after the farm closed. I called this company to request a pickup, and then when I got to the farm and saw the long queue to get into the shop, I had to call back and request they push it later. He was happy to oblige, and on our little drive told us interesting anecdotes about Jeremy and the farm and the local area, and even pulled over by the roadside to point out to us the colorful chicken coops. Thank you sir! Edited to add: it was £18 for the 15 minute drive in a nice big clean new minivan. I felt that is reasonable considering he's the only taxi service in the area and he needs to make enough money to live and keep his vehicle in good condition.

Booked to pick me up from train station in Charlbury. When train was delayed, he did not inform us that he had taken another job, I assume expecting he’d be back in time. When I finally got him on the phone he said he’d be 20 mins. I waited in the rain, and when he arrived I simply said it would have been appreciated if he had informed us he’d taken another job, he called me “sunshine” and asked if I wanted to get out. I said “I’m not having a go I’m just saying it would have been good to know.” He told me to get out of the car saying he didn’t want to have anything to do with me. We hadn’t left the station yet. Poor Pete needs a holiday! Peace be with you my brother ❤️

So I left a bad review last year! I had waited until the morning of arriving for a festival to book a a cab and when I messaged to ask if i could book one was told bluntly "no" I found this rather savage and unhelpful and in my mirth and frustration left a 1 star review. This year I was let down by the bus service for the same festival and found myself stranded on a winding country road with no signal. With only this number in my phone I called it in the hopes they could help - the signal was so poor that the operator couldn't make anything I said out but after a few failed attempts I received a text telling me to text back and after doing so was picked up by a lovely gentlemen called Pete. I really appreciate the phone conductor taking the trouble to text me back and help me in a tough situation. A far better interaction! I'll be sure to pre book with earlier next time. Thank you!
