A beautifully kept Wildlife park. The grounds had well kept grass areas and the floral displays were beautiful. The animals looked in good condition, the larger ones having plenty of open space to move around in. The smaller ones were well presented. The admission price was very reasonable, the staff were friendly & helpful. We did not visit the restaurant but overall a very enjoyable experience. Would recommend

Great wildlife park to visit with the family!
Little train (costs £2 each) takes you all round the park.
Lots of animals to see, Lions, tigers and giraffes, feeding shows for penguins.
Refreshments to buy, picnic areas to sit if you choose to bring your own food.
Lovely shop to pick up souvenirs.
Fun day out for all!

Such a great family day out with a really good variety of animals to see, along with incredibly insightful feedings and tours available to add some more knowledge. The short train ride around the park is a lovely way to take in the grounds and get a comprehensive view of most of the animals in their habitats. Thoroughly recommend if you’re in the area.

Visited for the first time on a very warm Friday with my wife and toddler. The car park is a good size, with parking attendants guiding us to a parking spot. Once parked, it's very much a free roam at your own pace. Clear, easy-to-read maps are dotted around to help you navigate your way. The park is lovely and open, with lots of shaded areas and picnic spots. There's an impressive range of animals to see. I was most impressed with the kids' play area; the wooden climbing frames are really well built, with different equipment for toddlers.

Great place. Really enjoyed seeing all the different animals. The enclosures are huge giving the animals plenty of space. Great variety of animals, rhino's, birds, fish, penguins and insects. Was quite flat land so easy to get around. Place is spotlessly clean very impressed. A full day out and plenty of area to picnic as well as playgrounds for the kids.

Was great, cannot wait to go back.

Absolutely fantastic place & very reasonably priced for what it is. The variety of stuff is impressive, it's got pretty much everything you'd expect from a zoo, as well as a giant kids play area, a nice café, & plenty of parking. One nice touch I like is that you pass through the ticket booth in your car before you park up, & the car park runs alongside the park so you can just get out your car & wander in. That also means it's really easy to pop back to your car to e.g. get or return the picnic stuff!
I was worried about going on a weekend during the summer holidays & it was busy, but not uncomfortably so. The park is big enough that you can easily find lots of space for you & yours whenever you need. Oh the little train ride around the park is great for the kids too!

What an absolutely stunning park.
Worth every penny to visit.

So nice to go somewhere with so much free space and loads of seating and picnic areas.
It was really busy but never crowded or bustling, no problem finding somewhere for a sit down to enjoy a coffee or just take in the immense views.
We found it well kept, tidy and very accessible.

Visited the cafe where I was blown away by the lovely choices of homemade, proper food and reasonable prices.
Lovely service and super clean seating area.
Extra places offering snacks, coffee and ice cream also opened up later on in the day. We visited those too!

Amazed at the range of animals who all looked relaxed and happy in their very natural and large enclosures.
The rhino's were something special, you wouldn't get closer unless you were on safari.
Loved how open everything is so you can see easily and from lots of different sides meaning you were never overcrowded by other people.

Madagascar walk through was something quite unique and fun to do, highly recommend.

The amount of pretty little garden and crop areas was nice to see, lots of veggies being grown - we loved this!

Queue for the train was mega so we didn't bother today but we've already decided to come again so hopefully we can get on next time.

Parking and access couldn't be easier, all staff were pleasant and friendly and the gift shop is the biggest I've ever been in!
Can't wait to come again!

This wildlife park is one of a kind! The animals do not feel like they are in exhibits, I just felt like I was wandering in a park with the animals. It's was so nice and clean everywhere, I have never seen the water as clear as it was in the penguin exhibit.

I will definitely be recommending anyone to come here, it's a lovely day out. Its family friendly, dog friendly, great play areas for the kids.
