We had a lovely one night stay at The Bay Tree Hotel with dinner and breakfast.

The location is brilliant, right in the centre of Burford with private parking available. Room was a really nice size, great bathroom, the only down point being that there's no air conditioning so it meant that it got rather warm.

The food was really really nice at dinner. However, the staff were a little overwhelmed with the number of diners, so things were a little slow. We weren't in any rush so it was no problem, and our servers, Marian in particular, were very attentive.

Breakfast was lovely too, and the staff were always on hand to be of service.

It's a 4* hotel, and I think a 4* rating is very fair here. I'd happily go back when returning to Burford.

We got married at The Bay Tree at the end of May and had the most amazing day. Laura was just a dream as a wedding coordinator - always on hand for all our questions in the run up to the day, so professional, organised and lovely! Laura and the team ensured that our day was smooth running - our guests have commented on how smoothly the day went and we didn’t have to think of a thing on the day! We truly just relaxed and enjoyed the day. We loved that we had exclusive use of the venue and really did use all areas! The bar/lounge area was perfect for those in the evening who didn’t want to dance. We were fortunate with the weather and were able to make use of the terrace and garden which were lovely especially with use of garden games from The Bay Tree. The food was a real highlight - our guests are still talking about how good it all was plus the portion sizes were amazing! A few of our guests have since returned to The Bay Tree for lunch! We loved that we could offer rooms for our guests and were so impressed by them. It was lovely to be able to have breakfast with our guests the next day and having the option of a continental buffet plus a hot dish. The Bay Tree and Burford are so picturesque with ample opportunities for good pictures! Overall we are so so pleased that we chose The Bay Tree as our wedding venue and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend! Thank you Laura and team for making our day truly special. Dominique & Nat

We spent 3 nights in the Bay Tree, as Burford is a great village to tour around the Cotswolds. The Bay Tree is a perfect example of Cotswolds charm. Rooms are quirky but very clean, comfortable and well equipped. The pressure in the shower isn’t great but you have to remember this is a 300 year old building. We would definitely recommend and would stay here again if we were in the area.

From the very first time we met Laura at The Bay Tree back in September, we instantly knew she - and this beautiful beautiful venue - were the one for us ✨️. Laura made the entire planning process feel effortless, and your calm, organised, and supportive nature made all the difference. Nothing was ever too much trouble, and every single one of my (many!) questions and emails was met with such grace, kindness, and promptness.||As for the big day itself - we’re still completely blown away. It was everything we dreamed of and more, and so much of that is down to you. Laura coordinated the day so seamlessly that we (especially me!) didn’t have to worry about a single thing. We are beyond grateful to have had you by our side through it all. If we could do it all again, we absolutely would - just to have the chance to work with you again!||I want to give a special mention separate thank you to Becky, Alana, Enya and the wonderful front-of-house team, who were all fantastic both in the lead-up and on the day itself. We chose the Bay Tree Hotel to host our intimate wedding in August and couldn't be happier. The hotel is a beautiful Cotswolds wedding venue and our day was wonderful thanks to the great staff and the wedding suppliers they recommended to us. Special mention to Alana for all of her help, Laura for overseeing proceedings and to Ethan for serving us a wonderful wedding dinner. Our dog was warmly looked after too ! A perfect summer wedding for us at a gorgeous venue.

We absolutely loved our one night stay at your gorgeous hotel. We stayed in the Oak room and my husband was blown away by it (was a surprise for him). All the staff were wonderful, so friendly and the hotel is beautifully decorated and maintained.|Our two dogs, Herbie & Pablo, were so well catered for, even getting a sausage each at breakfast! Thank you so much, we will be back 👍

We went to a wedding in May at the Bay Tree and we must congratulate all the staff for an absolutely wonderful occasion. We must say a big thank you to Laura and Alana. Organisation was second to none. The wedding breakfast was superb and timely for the 70+ guests. Talking to some of the guests, they said that it was thebest wedding they had been too. Once again thank you Bay Tree for a fantastically organised special day.

Lovely hotel with great staff. Dinner was great and reasonably priced. Breakfast was the highlight as this was delicious especially the bacon which was top notch. The staff are friendly and customer focused. The room I stayed in needs some love and attention as it has become a little tired. However overall a great stay at a great price.
