Dear Juan,

Thank you so much for organising our recent trip to LA and Cabo. We had a fantastic time and your personal tips and advise were invaluable!

Our 4 nights in LA were spent at Hotel Carmel in Santa Monica - which was ideal. The location is fabulous and given the fact that we were literally just sleeping there, it was clean and comfortable 3 star hotel.

We spent our waking hours touring LA and trying out some of their amazing restaurants!

2 notable breakfast eateries within walking distance of Hotel Carmel are Sweet Maple and Blue Daisy - which were both amazing!

We did a group electric bike ride of Santa Monica / Venice beaches which was a great way to get to know the area!

Then for the 2nd leg of our trip, we stayed at the Hacienda Encantada all inclusive resort in Cabo. This resort was amazing. The place itself was beautifully kept and the food was excellent. We ate at a different restaurant every night of our stay and we were never disappointed. We always managed to find a sun bed near the pool and made use of both the tennis and pickle ball courts. Our standard garden room was huge and had a sea view! The staff were all extremely friendly and accommodating!

It was a truly relaxing stay! For those wanting nightlife, there is the option to take the hotel shuttle bus down to Cabo St Lucas (about a 15 minute drive - which is included in the package) as there was nothing by way of evening entertainment (but this may be because June is considered low season for them?).

My only advice is to refuse point blank to agree to “a tour of the property” (which they try to arrange the minute you get there) as this is basically a form of timeshare sales pitch!!!

Thank you once again Juan - we will definitely be using ”All About Tailor-Made Travel” again in the future!

My wife and I visited New Zealand with a couple of friends this February. Having had great experience in the past with Juan of All About Tailor-made Travel we asked for his help in organizing the trip. He was very helpful in every respect - from the planning stage to every little detail along the way. We had a great mix of sight-seing tours, self-drive, scenic trains and flights, and everything went perfectly smoothly. Transfers were on time and comfortable, accommodation was great (perfect locations, very comfortable with all amenities), rental car was exactly what we needed, all the necessary information at our fingertips at all times. In short, we covered as much as we could possibly have hoped for in the 16 days we had. Part of the credit definitely goes to the local NZ team as well. Great people, great country - highly recommend a visit.

We had the most wonderful honeymoon in Costa Rica created by Juan. I told him what I was looking for and he put together a perfect plan, and gave some great recommendations too. I loved our day trip to Tabacon Hot Springs, and jumping off the boat into the warm waters in Manuel Antonio, as well as seeing sloths, monkeys, iguanas, hawks, turtles, vultures, beautiful butterflies and birds and an alligator! Highly recommend a trip.
