Such an exquisitely quaint Scottish Town.

My family and I were staying at a local caravan site and whilst we were here we visited this lovely place.

It has an old quirky feeling to it and great ambiance with some traditional old style butcher and green grocery village shops and many more to boot.

We sat in a café come lunchtime restaurant and had some Scottish Haggis.

This town has some beautiful architecture alongside some spectacular scenery.

All-in-all it's a great little hidden gem and well worth a visit.

Great selection of cards and things, doesn't feel like a load of generic mass-produced stuff, more curated somehow.

Gave good advice about the area and paths/ tracks that were likely to be accessible to a mobility scouter.

I stayed at the Craggs Hotel this week, again my welcome from the owners Laura and Gary was great. They made my stay like a home from home. My room was lovely, breakfast is to your order and filled me up all day. Dog friendly too, this is a diamond amongst the coals in the village. I so look forward to my return visit. Keep shining, David Allen.
