Great place to take the children or just to walk the dogs. Have a dedicated small hut called the dog house for dog walkers to sit and have a hot drink with their dogs. The wildlife centre is full of things to see for children. Has a cafe with seating inside or outside. Also you have access to the roof area with amazing views or the centre and also the river Thames. Great day out just chilling and great day to take kids to. It’s a break for the family and so relaxing. Plenty of parking for cars also disabled spaces and two large spaces for coaches. So ideal for a school trip.
We went in half term and it was busy but the place is so big it easily coped. Great staff in the cafe loverly staff very helpful.

This place it is pure bliss!!! Amazing place to go for a walk alone ( although it is nature, u feel safe ) or with your dog , chill for a coffee and unwind from the busy life. It is a bliss!!!
I could have not enjoy the time spent there more ?
There's a parking, playground for children, a coffee shop, clean toilets inside and a souvenir shop. The view it is amazing. Especially from the roof top which you can access it via the coffee shop. Apparently after 5pm the place it is closed. So not sure if you can access the grounds as there is a gate at the start of path that leads to the coffee shop.

Virtually on my door step, I enjoy going there for walks, and going for a coffee in the visitor centre. Great views from the roof of the visitor centre and also in the cafe. The large kids play area is also a favourite for my kids. It's also free entry and parking.

An amazing place, open footpaths that are used and suitable for walkers, dog walkers (on leads), runners and cyclists. As you can see from the photos the views are great and the nature information are useful and interesting for kids and adults.

The main building has a viewing platform on the roof and a cafe, with shop. There is a viewing hide with benches that I imagine would be popular with bird watchers.

We are lucky to have this and I really hope people enjoy it for years to come, please use the cafe and they accept donations

Beautiful spot. Mixed feelings about it being built on a historic landfill site but at the same time at least it's a positive attempt to surround the area with nature. Would visit again. Check out the hide behind the centre with Thames views ?

Great place to just spend a morning or an afternoon, even if for a couple of hours. Plenty of space for children to play, great playground area to break the boredom. Or go for a walk around the reserve. Pop on in to the cafe on site, run by volunteers. It serves a nice basic menu, sandwiches, toasties and jackets, plus hot and cold drinks. Once finished, take a walk up to the roof which acts as a viewing platform to look over spanning views. You don't need to be a bird watcher to visit this place. It's a great day out for the family. Free entry.

Newly created nature park near Stanford lead Hope. With free parking and disabled parking. Plenty of children's play equipment. Also viewing area on top of Cafe. No dogs allowed in cafe and MUST be on a lead throughout the park. Fantastic views of the Thames and London Gateway port. Plenty of different walks.

This really is a hidden gem I'm Essex! Stunning views of the Thames and a beautifully kept wildlife reserve. The centre offers gifts and hot drinks and snacks.

It has incredible views from the roof platform. There is plenty of parking and great walks, from short to long, all on well made paths.

Finally, the outdoor play area caters for all ages of children. Great for a family day out.
