This is an amazing well thought out farm and activity place. They offered a very reasonable summer ticket (2024) which was great for weekly trips to go see the same favourite or different parts with no pressure to do everything.
Toilet facilities need some work.

Shop, outlets were mostly closed, but the park was open and fun for all ages, but the weather didn't play ball at all, we got soaked, but enjoyed all we could whilst there. Well worth a visit ! Nice surprise though, rainy day guarantee!! E mail received offering us a free re visit because of the weather, wow what wonderful kind business sense. As long as taken within two weeks of your original visit, this is fantastic, so fair to the mom's n dad's, nans and grandads that spend to entertain the young ones. A big thumbs up for doing this for the families that visit.

Fantastic all day family fun, huge slides in the soft/play/cafe. Make sure to check what time everything is on and give yourselves ten minutes to get to each event as the grounds are quite big.

A letdown. We visited as a family of four, and our kids were bored and disappointed because in theory there’s plenty of fun stuff to do, but it’s all closed or restricted to minimal 30 minute windows with long waits between. When we questioned this, staff pointed to the activities program, but neither the website nor the program explains that most activities are unavailable for most of the day.

In practice, school groups take priority over everyone else, and the whole place is understaffed. Workers included several overwhelmed teenagers and a few stressed adults, who are no doubt doing their best in challenging circumstances. The “included in the price of admission” laser tag was closed/unbookable, a number of games which look fun/open from a distance all require extra coins to operate, and several playground items are overdue some maintenance.

When buying tickets online there’s a clear warning about the £2 all day parking charge which is helpful but a warning about how most activities are unavailable would have been much more useful. There were even posters up in the cafeteria which promised all day animal handling but that simply isn’t true.

Some redeeming qualities: there are a few interesting animals to admire from a distance, like Shetland ponies and a wallaby. A couple of members of staff were kind to the kids when we eventually did get to see the guinea pigs, and one person working in the gift shop was also friendly.

All in all, this failed to live up to the promise of the website. The term-time tickets are heavily discounted; at least now we know why. We made the best of a disappointing visit, but we won’t be back. If you’re looking to entertain kids, look elsewhere.

Our under 2 grandson had an even better time on this second visit. He had a great time. This time we booked our tickets online at a lower cost.

What a summer Hatton put on.
All their usual facilities as well as 4 magic shows a day, sheep racing, maize maze, sunflowers and the foam party.
We bought summer passes and visited every week throughout the summer. I was so chuffed that they had alot of outdoor activities and knowing the British weather could also visit on wet days to the soft play to make the most of the pass.
My 4yr daughter absolutely loved Zoobie the magician and demanded that every time we came we caught at least 2 shows.
Brilliant fun for kids and adults and a brilliant sit down for 30mins peace. We got our moneys worth just from seeing him. All summer shes talked about Zoobie to anyone that would listen and also developed a love for magic. We are now considering a magician themed birthday party and gifts.
Foam parties were all ran brilliantly, in fact all the staff we came in contact with were a credit to Hatton. So willing and building excitement even I was excited to visit each time.
The sheep racing was hilarious and the maize was really well done and considered. I will definitely be looking at summer passes next year and maybe even year passes for a present. Our next visit will be for Halloween as we've been made aware of all the events and the illusion magic show.
Thank you Hatton for a fantastic summer.

A great Easter Sunday day out with the family! Lots to do including an Easter egg hunt, indoor play area feeding baby animals that are new in season (so cute and my fave) and a big outdoor space to have lots of fun!
